Private Luxor Day Trip by Plane from Cairo: Ancient Wonders

Maret is a wonderful guide. She brought Karnak Temple, Temple of Luxor, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple to life with her deep knowledge of Egyptology and enthusiasm. I was very impressed with the schedule which included flights, lunch refreshment stops and a brief visit (at my request) to a cotton store. Be sure to ask for Maret as your guide as I don't think you could do better. A memorable day that will stay with me for a long time.

I took a private o e day tour to Luxor to see the valley of the kings and more! I must say it’s a day full of various tourist sites, tombs, and temples. Dina met me at the airport and transported me to the various places in an air conditioned car. Dina was very knowledgeable about Ancient Egypt and answered all of my questions. She even assisted me with taking a few photos. We started the valley of the tombs late morning and the day definitely heated things up. I would recommend shorts, short sleeve short and even a fan. We accomplished all of the sites on the itinerary and finally took me back to airport to fly back to Cairo. A delicious lunch was also provided. Dina has lived in Luxor for more than 17 years and is always looking for ways to improve. I appreciate Dina for a great day and would definitely recommend her.

We had an amazing day touring Luxor with Remon! He guided us through the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, and the incredible temples of Luxor and Karnak. Remon was extremely knowledgeable, mindful, and flexible, which made the experience stress-free and enjoyable—especially since we were traveling with a child. We took the full day Luxor trip on September 21, 2025. We visited the Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak & Luxor Temples.. Remon and his team did a fantastic job and we had the best time. Remon was there on time to pick us up from the airport. The minivan which my family took was very clean. We were provided with water and icecreams which cooled us down on a hot day. He was with us throughout the trip explaining in detail about the significance of each place. We were provided with a wonderful lunch. He told us in advance about how much we could bargain and where we shouldn't shop as there were quite a few places where tourists could be heckled. He was very flexible if we wanted to not do something or do something extra instead. He and the driver were very friendly, polite and courteous. We had a wonderful time in Luxor thanks to Remon and we would recommend him as a tourist guide anytime.

We booked a day trip from Cairo to Luxor (5:30 AM – 9:00 PM) with Deluxe Tours Egypt, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. Everything was arranged seamlessly, and from start to finish we felt taken care of. Our guide in Luxor, Walid, was absolutely fantastic. He met us at the airport and guided us through a full day of exploring Luxor’s treasures—Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the Colossi of Memnon. Walid’s knowledge, passion, and storytelling brought every site to life. Despite the packed schedule, he made sure we never felt rushed and adjusted the day perfectly to our pace and interests. His attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism made this long day truly enjoyable. What impressed us just as much was the personal touch from Deluxe Tours Egypt. After our flight back to Cairo, the owner himself was waiting to pick us up at the airport, ensuring we had a safe and comfortable ride back to our hotel late in the evening. That kind of care and hospitality really set them apart. If you are considering a Luxor day trip from Cairo, we cannot recommend Deluxe Tours Egypt enough. With their excellent planning, Walid’s outstanding guiding, and the personal service from the owner, it was a flawless and unforgettable experience!

The tour itself was an amazing experience, very well organised, very friendly staff, showing us all the sights in one day and making us feel very welcome and safe. The manager was very kind and would message consistently to make sure we knew what was going on at all times, we had an amazing day. The only downside was the flights, we were delayed both ways by over 2 hours which made this a very long day. This is a problem with the airline though, not the tour guides. The manager was very helpful and even tried to look for other flights for us which we appreciated, and his driver, George, waited over 2 hours for us on the other end very late into the night, making sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. All in all it was an amazing experience, but a very long day! (4am to 1am) The tour company were incredibly helpful and very kind!
