1. Bisevo Blue Cave, also known as Modra Spilja, is a natural wonder located near the island of Bisevo in the Adriatic Sea, Croatia. The cave gets its name from the blue hue created by sunlight shining through an underwater entrance. The cave is around 24 meters long, around 12 meters wide, and its ceiling reaches up to 15 meters. What makes the cave especially stunning are the flickering silver lights that reflect off the water’s surface. Visitors can take a small boat tour into the cave and see this natural phenomenon up close. The cave formed around 6000 years ago as sea levels began to rise and reached its current state around 2500 years ago.
