Wonderful experience and it was amazing to see things we wouldn’t normally be able to see. The Capuchin part though was just okay. You walk there and then just listen to a self guided audio tour. The rides between places was nice though. Cat was an exceptionally wonderful tour guide.

Andrea was an amazing guide who really knew his history. He was polite, funny and very personable. We were immersed in his stories and would definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family!!

Great tour! Andrea was super knowledgeable and personable. He gave us a detailed history of everything we saw, including amusing anecdotes. Highly recommended!

Very remarkable experience. Our guide Emiliano was exceptional. He was a font of knowledge coupled with a comedian. We laughed and learned for the entire experience. The crypt was eerie, but interesting. Truly unique. The catacombs blew our mind, no bones about it :-). Highly recommend. Five stars. Our only complaint was with City Tours who was not flexible with rescheduling this tour when our other tour today was cancelled. They insisted on a 30 euro per person fee. I was not pleased with their inflexible nature. But our experience made up for it.

A really interesting tour at a great pace. Caterina and Alain were friendly and informative and made sure everyone was happy throughout.

Our guide Emilyano was so much fun and full of information and energy! He took the time to answer our questions and give us as much history lesson as he could. I enjoyed the entire experience!!!

Our guide was knowledgeable as well as humorous. She kept us together even though it was a large group. I appreciated her attention to detail. Highly recommend!

An amazing experience! Our guides , Ali and Anthony were very knowledgeable, helpful and fun. So very interesting to see and learn about ancient burial customs. I will be doing this again on my next trip to Rome!

This was our only large group tour while in Rome, and one that was NOT specifically catered towards kids, and even my 11 year old son thought this was cool. For the time, it was well paced, well informed and covered a lot of ground (both literally and topically). For a topic that could have been really macabre, it was an elevated experience.
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- A dress code is required for entry into some of the sites on this tour. Knees and shoulders must be covered
- No photos can be taken inside the venue during the tour
- This activity is not suitable for people who suffer from claustrophobia
- Some of the venues may slightly reduce the length of visit in period of high demand.
- If you select the "After Hours" Option, starting at 5pm, you tour will last 2.5 hours and will end at Piazza della Repubblica
- Please note, on Sundays the Church visits is not guaranteed due to liturgical activities.
- Not recommended for those who are effected by claustrophobia
