1. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a Buddhist temple located on a mountain in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The temple is one of the most important and popular religious sites in Chiang Mai. It was founded in the 14th century, and its most prominent feature is the golden pagoda (chedi) believed to enshrine relics of the Buddha.

To reach the temple, visitors must climb a staircase of 306 steps flanked by a Naga (snake-shaped) railing.
