1. Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane is a contemporary art gallery located in Dublin’s city center. It was established in 1908 by Sir Hugh Lane, a celebrated art collector and philanthropist. The gallery is home to a permanent collection of modern and contemporary art, as well as temporary exhibitions, a research library, and a stained-glass room designed by acclaimed artist Harry Clarke. One of the most interesting features of the gallery is its display of Francis Bacon’s reconstructed studio, which was relocated from London to Dublin in 1998.
