1. Can Gio Mangrove Biosphere Reserve is located about 40 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City and covers an area of approximately 75,740 hectares. It was established in 2000 and was recognized by UNESCO as a biosphere reserve in 2005. The reserve includes a dense mangrove forest, which serves as an important habitat for numerous species of aquatic animals, birds, and plants. Visitors can take a boat tour of the mangrove forest and see rare species such as the endangered saltwater crocodile, the green sea turtle, and the black-shanked douc langur. The reserve also features a monkey island, beaches, and an eco-tourism zone that includes a crocodile farm and a fishing village.

3. The entrance fee for the biosphere reserve is 60,000 VND (about $2.50) per person. The fee for a boat tour of the mangrove forest is 200,000 VND (about $8.50) per hour for a group of up to 10 people. Visitors can reach the reserve by taking a bus or taxi from Ho Chi Minh City. It takes approximately 2 hours by bus from the city center to Can Gio.
