1. Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Kamakura, Japan. The shrine was founded in 1063 and is dedicated to the god of war, Hachiman. It is considered one of the most important and popular shrines in Kamakura and is known for its iconic red torii gate and long approach lined with cherry blossom trees. According to legend, the founder of the Kamakura Shogunate, Minamoto no Yoritomo, used to visit the shrine regularly to pray for his success.

Alternatively, you can take the Enoden Line to Kamakura Station and walk about 5 minutes. There are also several bus routes that stop near the shrine.
