1. Big Buddha (Wat Chalong) is a 45-meter tall Buddha statue made of reinforced concrete, located on top of a hill in Chalong, Phuket. It is the largest Buddha statue in Phuket and is visible from many parts of the island. The statue is in a seated position with its hands resting on its knees, and it faces east towards the sunrise. Surrounding the statue are smaller Buddha statues and temples, where visitors can make offerings and pray. The construction of the statue began in 2004 and was completed in 2018.

3. The best way to reach the Big Buddha is by hiring a taxi or a tuk-tuk. It is also possible to rent a scooter or a car and drive up the hill to the site.
