1. Prince Gong Mansion, also known as Gong Wang Fu, is a centuries-old imperial palace complex located in Xicheng District, Beijing. It was built between 1777 and 1781 during the Qing Dynasty for the brother of Emperor Qianlong, the renowned Prince Gong. The mansion boasts ornate gardens, courtyards, halls, and pavilions that showcase a blend of traditional Chinese architecture and Western influences. The mansion is famous for its exquisite design and layout as well as its cultural and historical significance. It was designated as a national heritage site in 1982 and opened to the public as a museum in 1921.

3. The admission ticket costs CNY 40, while an additional CNY 20 is required for entrance to the East Garden and another CNY 20 for the West Garden. Students with valid ID can get a 50% discount on the ticket. Visitors can reach the Prince Gong Mansion by taking subway line 4 or line 6 and getting off at the Ping’anli Station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to the mansion. Alternatively, visitors can take public bus 13, 42, 107, 111, 118, 701, or 823 and get off at the Ping’anli West Station.
