What an amazing day. It is long but worth it. It was a little over 11 hours. “Genny” nickname for Ginevra so something like that. She was great and kept a fairly large group on track from place to place so that we could get to Pisa with daylight still for a great experience. First stop was in Siena. What a great little town. Had a local guide that led us around telling us about the history and pointing things out. She was a blast and funny as well. Would have missed a lot of the history and tidbits without a guide. Then off to the winery for lunch and wine tasting. Wasn’t the traditional wine tasting (I.e. explaining about the wine making process, etc.) but had pairings with different course meals. The wine was good and the last red wine was amazing. Was able to order some and shipping to USA was reasonable. Finally on towards Pisa. We were concerned from other reviews that we wouldn’t see it in day light with the time of the year, but since our guide did great with herding all the people at all the stops we were able to get there in time to see in day light and even climb to top and get sunset pics. Genny was very knowledge, funny and great at informing everyone on the expectations and herding us to each destination.

The schedule is very tight in order to see everything. Our guide did an excellent job keeping the tour on track.

Our guide Sara and our driver Giuseppe were fantastic! On time, looked ahead for challenges, and had great hospitality. Sara was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history and the wine of Tuscany. The tour included lots of walking that was at a fast pace at times. This would be a difficult tour for anyone who struggles with walking distances, on inclines, or up stairs. It packed a lot into one day. For a traveler like me, that is what I love! As a so traveler it was welcoming and easy to meet other travelers to share the day with.

Overall a great day. Saw Sienna San Gimingano and Pisa. Don’t expect to linger anywhere. Very little free time. Lunch at winery was great. However we were surprised that a lot of extra walking was required from bus drop off points. For younger people not an issue but for us in our 60s it was an unexpected challenge. Pisa was disappointing. It was already dark, the monuments were not lit up, and we only had an hour. The worst part of Pisa was having to walk along busy and narrow roads and sidewalks, and across streets at night in not a good part of town for what seemed at least to be a half mile each way. Tour company may not be able to do anything about this, but people should be aware going in.

What a great excursion with Sara as our guide! A full day of interest points, lots of walking and a comfortable coach bus too! Sara was informative, fun and engaging-keeping our group entertained and moving at a good pace. The winery lunch was delicious, I wish we couldve stayed there a bit longer to relax but then we wouldve missed Pisa in the daylight. A great day on our first trip to Italy! Thank you Sara! Very long day, but enjoyed every second. The farmhouse lunch was the absolute highlight! Fresh food, delicious wine and the most amazing views. Could not have wished for more. The tour guide was amazing and the day was a highlight of our visit to Florence! Definitely worth it!

This is a long, but rewarding day!!! Bring water bottles and a snack. Battery packs are also helpful. The bus was comfortable and the driver was great. You will meet at the train station and have a 10 minute walk to get to the bus. The lunch is Tuscany was picturesque. Food was good and wine was good. I loved San Gimigano and wish we had more time there. I could have spent a whole day in San Gimigano. Siena was nice. I would have rather spent less time in Siena and more time in San Gimigano. By the time we arrived in Pisa, there wasn’t much to fo other than pictures of the tower. You can climb the tower but felt the tower in San Gimignano was way more worth the trek. Overall, it was memorable and our guide was top notch.

This was an incredible excursion that we will always remember. It was extremely well organized. Our guide, Alex, and our driver, Gaspare, were wonderful hosts. The day was well thought-out and expertly planned, from the meeting point in the morning through all the stops -- Siena, San Gimignano, and Pisa -- to drop off. And lunch at the vineyard -- amazing! We could not have covered that much ground on our own. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable and fun day!
