Istanbul Unveiled: Bosphorus & Golden Horn Panoramic Cruise

Good place to start your Istanbul trip as the tour guide points out places of interest. Meet up place is at the port. A rep will approach you and show your name if that is you. Just be aware of the inclusions of what you pay for. One star off since we paid for an afternoon cruise with lunch but nothing was offered to us. When I asked, they were skeptical but I showed them my viator ticket which showed that lunch should be included. The guide kept asking how much I paid for the cruise but I booked the cruise few months ago and forgotten exactly how much and told him it should not matter since my ticket says afternoon cruise with lunch. He finally relented and gave us lunch (soup, salad, entree, and dessert). Food was yummy.

Definitely not as described, 1 1/2 hour boat ride and we never got off the boat. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars because at least from the boat you got to see a lot of good sites, but never visited the Asia side as described.

It’s cold on deck i recommend that you later up. The boat leaves slightly earlier than the time mentioned so always show up early. Tea and cookies were a good snack to warm up. Sunset is over the hill so you don’t actually see a pretty view. It happens when you dropped at the asian side. Timing could vary as there are multiple boats leaving.

Lovely trip - interesting commentary about what we were seeing and the history - I liked the little touch of free tea. The only thing I would change is not to waste time during the stop off at the Asian side waiting for people to gather off the boat and be guided 5 mins down the street. We only had an hour to eat and look around and we barely managed to eat our food in time.

The cruise was very enjoyable and a great price. The only recommendation would be to tell guests the name of the boat to watch for as there are many at the same time.

The tour goes up the. European side to the second Bridge then returns along the Asian side with a stop at a some touristy restaurants. Good price, no frills and quite crowded.

Good guided tour about European and Asian side of Turkey. Tea and biscuits offered on dining area. The one hour on Asian side is only good to browse around a few shops within walking distance of the pier.

According to the booking this tour was included with 1 hour stop at Asian side of Istanbul, which was the reason I booked this tour. Unfortunately it wasn’t what this tour about, this was 2 hours on the boat, not stopping Asian side at all. Please let me know why I have not got what I paid for.

Diana was a great host, very thorough and good information, the tour was fun and the perfect time to see everything. Fun little shopping adventure, tea and cookies too!!
