Salwah was an amazing guide we loved the tour! She was informative, eager to answer questions, accommodated any requests, and helped when asked. She was very fast paced and knows how to navigate well which is necessary due to the crowded nature of these tours. She gave us plenty of time to take pictures and ask any questions we had. She knows her stuff and I’m so glad we got her as a guide. Of note there were two stops along the way outside of the itinerary, these included a perfumery and an alabaster stone shop. You are not required to purchase anything but they will ask-they do provide a beverage during this. Tipping of the driver and tour guide is expected.

Guide and driver are worth it for those with many questions. I had to contact Viator to confirm my hotel meeting location after weeks of no reply from the tour company. They rushed me after they showed up 2 hours before my scheduled pickup (6am vs 8am) - I missed breakfast before the long day. Lunch was good but things are very transactional. Cheaper to coordinate yourself once you arrive to Egypt.

This was a very awe inspiring tour of Luxor. My tour guide Mustpha was very knowledgeable and his command of English was quite good considering it was his second or third language. Our driver Mohamed was skilled and competent. Mustapha was smart, kind and considerate. We visited the Temples of Luxor, the Valley of Kings and saw the Nile amongst other things. The tombs were stunning and quite a contrast the the unadorned pyramids in Giza.

Our private full-day tour in Luxor was absolutely amazing! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and comfortable. Our driver, Mahmoud, picked us up right on time in a clean and private vehicle, and our tour guide, Salwa, was exceptional — professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. She explained everything with passion and clarity, making the history of ancient Thebes truly come alive. We started our day at the Karnak Temple, which was breathtaking, and then continued to the Valley of the Kings, where Salwa shared fascinating insights about the tombs and the pharaohs buried there. We also visited the Temple of Hatshepsut, which was truly impressive, and made a short stop at the Temple of Amenhotep III to see the massive Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant that was included in the tour — a nice break before heading to our final stop, the Luxor Temple, perfectly timed for sunset. Seeing the temple light up as the sun went down was absolutely magical and the perfect way to end the day. Throughout the entire tour, we felt safe, relaxed, and very well taken care of. Salwa’s knowledge and friendly personality, along with Mahmoud’s professionalism and smooth driving, made this an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend this private tour and would definitely suggest requesting Salwa and Mahmoud — they’re an incredible team who will make your day in Luxor truly special!

What an amazing day this was with our guide, Baghat! We only had one full day in Luxor by design and this checked all the boxes of places we wanted to see. First class service, great recommendations from guide and delicious food at the end of the day. 10/10 :)

Breathtaking tour to the Temples of Karnak, Luxor, and Valley of the Kings. Best to leave early as possible, take lot of water bottles, there is a LOT of walking in the heat. Tour Guide Shireen was very knowledgeable and did a great job taking us around and explaining everything. Let your guide know if you want to go shopping or skip shops for Alabaster, Papyrus, Egyptian Cotton, Perfume, Jewelry etc., as these will subtract from the time spent at the sites.

We've had the best time at the Luxor tour with Bahgat! He is very knowledgeable of the Egyptian culture with 20+ years of experience. We've visited the Valley of the Kings, Hapshepsup Tample and Karnak temple. Our drivers was waiting for us at the end of each temple. Highly recommend this your and our tour guide Bahgat!
