Luxor's Wonders: Small Group Day Tour from Hurghada & El Gouna

The day starts off early but is worth it, this is to get the early convoy from hurghada to luxor. Here we were welcomed with complimentary drinks and a lovely a/c bus by the driver, charging USB on board for anyone to make sure you don't miss a picture. Ahmed the driver was great, good humour and ensured everything was set up to and during the drive. From our hotel pickup we were taken to luxor via a rest room break if needed. First stop is the Temple of Karnak, by getting picked up early we were the first trip from hurghada meaning no waits and straight to meeting our personal guide Asaid. He was extremely friendly and ran the whole day without fault. We were able to go round the various sights at the temple with good local knowledge. We spent around 2 hours here. From here we took a short drive to the boat onto the Nile, we did the extra admission for an extra 40 minutes trip. We got to see more of the Nile and surrounding sights on both sides were would recommend the extra for a few more sights. We then went to a restaurant on the side of the Nile for some lunch and a drink, which the drink was extra but only 100 Egyptian pound for a coke. Food was buffet style with plenty of choice. The valley of the kings was the true highlight, here we had a small buggy ride up to the valley and we were given the choice of tombs but we went with the recommended ones by Asaid. KV16, Ramases I is the the deepest and despite being steep it is worth it. From the valley a short drive to the temple of hatshepsut. On the way ice cold water offered and we were more than glad for it. The temple is extremely impressive set over 3 floors. Our final stop was at the alabaster factory. The small display set on was extremely friendly and with a funny twist. Here they showed how the made it by hand. We were given a free drink while we looked, we bought a little souvenir of our trip. We would highly recommend this tour, we had the private tour with just the two of us for a very reasonable price. We can't thank them enough as we had the best end to our trip.

We had the pleasure of being the only couple on this tour and met Ahmed bright and early at 4.30am in our hotel reception. He skilfully got us to Karnak before the rest of the tourist buses and out of the heat of the day. There we were introduced to our guide Said, who stayed with us for the reminder of the tour. Both Ahmed and Said are extremely knowledgable and very courteous. My partner and I had been feeling unwell with a stomach bug and Ahmed went above and beyond to find us the proper medication. Said’s knowledge of all the sites visited really helped our experience and he picked the three best tombs for us to visit. We had an enjoyable visit to the Papyrus shop and a very entertaining visit to the Alabaster factory. Ahmed ensured that we had a variety of soft drinks, water and snacks to keep us going. I couldn’t praise Ahmed and Said enough and would give this tour 10 stars plus if I could.

Ahmed was perfectly on time at the hotel. Very courteous and friendly. I mentioned I wasn't feeling well and once we got to luxor he tried his best to find a pharmacy open to get me medication and he paid for it himself. Can't praise him enough for all he did. Would certainly recommend him.

My wife and I went with Ahmed as our driver. He was great and so was our tour guide Said. Ahmed arrived on time and made sure we got there and back safely.

Said was our tour guide for this activity and he was absolutely amazing. My husband and I flew in from the US for this experience and couldn’t be more pleased. Said took his time to explain all of the history at the Karnak Temple, The Valley of Kings, and Queen Hatshepsut’s temple. He was also very professional, made sure to answer all of our questions, and overall a very nice person. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a tour guide while in Luxor and even Cairo. Our bus was the first to arrive to the Convoy, thanks to Ahmed’s promptness in making sure we traveled on schedule. Ahmed was an excellent driver. Ahmed also made sure we were one of the first ones to arrive to the Karnak temple to avoid the massive crowd that came afterwards. He made sure we knew the route we were taking and every stop he made. He also accommodated us with plenty snacks, drinks, WiFi, and tv. His van was clean, and he was very professional. I would definitely recommend him and his tour agency for anyone looking to travel to Luxor.

Our trip to Luxor was great. Our tour guide Hani was very knowledable and a great guy. Our day was all very well planned and catered for by Ramashka tour, the service was excellent from the morning pickup refreshments to the point we got back to our hotel. I highly reccommend Ramashka Tour for your Luxor day trip. We saw all the main sites in Luxor and were extremely satisfied, the Nile boat ride was a good touch, it cost £10 extra. We got back around 8pm. All rounder and made us feel comfortable.

Ahmed was a very nice and fast chauffeur and we had good wifi on board of the car. Said the guide knee a lot of archeolgy and we made a boattour with him on the nile. We were the first visitors at Karnak because of fast driving in convoy no 1. We started at 4.30 en went back at 17 in hotel. Ahmed is topdriver

Our day was GREAT!! Ahmed was at our hotel before our 4:30am pickup time. That fact turned out to be important because an interim wait point gets really busy and if you're late, could be more than 2 hrs and you'll be stuck with the crowds. The bus was SUPER. WiFi, blackout curtains, snacks, water & soda, and surprise, ICE CREAM! What a welcome treat!!! Our ride there and back included the stops mentioned and an extra 1 as I forgot my antihistamine at the hotel. Ahmed kindly obliged and stopped at a pharmacy to get it for me. We had such a good time at all of the sites. I told my daughter it was like grade-school history brought to life!!

Planning a trip to luxor speak to Ahmed first. You won't be disappointed. Free WiFi on minibus, snacks and drinks. Started out at 445am returned to hotel before 6pm. Thanks to being well organised.
