High Atlas & 5 Valleys: Marrakech's Breathtaking Nature Escape

I had an absolutely wonderful time on the trip. Me and my friends can’t stop talking about it. Ismael, our beloved tour guide, created such a unique experience and was incredibly knowledgeable. If you get him as your driver you are in for a treat! I would absolutely buying or bringing candies/toys for the children we pass. It adds so much to the journey and just exemplifies an already phenomenal experience.

Our guide Abdullah was kind, knowledgable, and humorous. The scenery was very beautiful and peaceful. The minibus was clean and comfortable. The food was some of the best we’ve had in Marrakech. We were picked up and dropped off near our riad. We were in a very small group which made it very personal.

We had a great guide he was friendly and very knowledgeable. The trip had some amazing views, delicious food and no crowds.

This was a wonderful experience. I travelled with friends and three 17yr-old boys. Abdul was prompt in picking us up from our hotel as arranged and was friendly and welcoming from the outset. We spent a fantastic day driving through the mountains, enjoying breathtaking scenery, and great photo stops. Abdul's English was excellent and he answered my (many) questions and shared his extensive knowledge of Morocco, the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech and Berber life from the moment we got into the van. He drove expertly and calmly along the winding, often precipitous, mountain roads. He had arranged a visit to a Berber home and then a walk with a local guide through a valley. The walk involved narrow paths but was not arduous and was most enjoyable with crunchy apples fresh from the trees to munch. We then had lunch in a private Berber home: delicious home-cooked chicken tagine, vegetable couscous, soup, salad and fresh fruit - we stuffed ourselves but there were still leftovers! This trip is definitely off the beaten track and a wonderful insight into another side of Moroccan life. Hopefully find those goats in trees next time, Abdul! Tagine!

An amazing time with our driver Mohammed, he’s very knowledgeable and charismatic, and Abdul, our walking guide who was so genuine when showing us around the villages in which he grew up. A real highlight was the lunch prepared by Fatima and Fatiha, beautiful food with a vista to match. It was really nice to see their team’s passion for working with the local community, and showing such a real portrayal of Moroccan mountain life.

We had the most incredible trip in Marrakech and our guide, Ismail, made the experience truly unforgettable. From start to finish, he was warm, knowledgeable and made us feel completely at ease. The scenery was absolutely stunning -peaceful, beautiful surroundings that felt like a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We especially loved meeting the local Berber children, who were so sweet and welcoming. The food along the way was delicious – fresh, authentic and full of flavour. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, giving us a genuine taste of Moroccan hospitality. This trip was the perfect balance of relaxation, culture and breathtaking views. We can’t recommend it highly enough if you’re visiting Marrakech, ask for Ismail! He made the day so special.

Best day tour we took from Marrakech while staying. Mohamed was our driver and guide, he was very kind, friendly, informative. We had a great chat in the car, he was very helpful with everything. The place is amazing, great views the whole way, very nice people up the mountains, interesting culture, lovely language. I can only recommend. If you go, ask to have Mohamed to drive you!

Ismail is a very smart guy, funny and knows his job very well! The highlight of the trip was a lunch in a berber house with delicious food. Tips: bring with you some candies, school stuff, like backpacks, crayons for the village kids, the will appreciate it for sure
