Workers were great! Unfortunately, this company overbooked our event which was set to a max of 26. There were 34 people including a large group of 20.

This experience was very fun and a nice break from all the walking we were doing on our vacation. The chefs facilitated the preparation and cooking at a good pace so that we were able to enjoy the experience and eventually eat the pasta on time. We made unique flavors of gelato and were able to try several different flavors.

Admittedly, my husband and I aren’t usually fans of group activities while on vacation—but Davide, Liviu, and Erika with Walkabout Tours completely changed that! This class ended up being one of the highlights of our two-week trip through Italy. From start to finish, everything was so well organized—clear communication, smooth transitions between each part of the experience, and a perfect mix of learning and fun. The setting was absolutely beautiful, with views and atmosphere that made it feel like a true Tuscan escape. The team’s humor, warmth, and passion for Italian cooking made everyone feel comfortable and involved. We learned to make fresh pasta and gelato from scratch, shared a delicious meal together, and left with full stomachs and even fuller hearts. If you’re even thinking about signing up—do it. It’s hands-on, authentic, and one of the most memorable ways to experience Italy.

Wonderful experience learning to make pizza and gelato in Tuscany! Max, Arla and Tizuano were amazing at teaching us the skills of making pizzas and gelato. The people in class were from all over the world and were fascinating. This was a must do when your visiting the Florence Italy area!

We had the best time at our cooking class. It was fun and we learnt how to actually make pasta and gelato. The day went so quickly because it was so much fun

Such a fun, enriching experience. It was a little funny for us to be the only europeans in the 20-person group, but everyone was kind and enjoying themselves. Big up for Ado, Tiziano and Lodovik - the guys were really funny and ensured everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend the tour!!

The most fun tour of our entire Italian vacation! The chefs made it so entertaining. The tour was 5 hours but the time flew by. The farm location just outside of Florence was beautiful, our 16 year old son loved it!

This was such a fun experience! I love to cook so I was super excited for it and it did not disappoint. Our chef's were Carmela, Livio and Max. Carmela is such an energetic and happy person that her enthusiasm was very contagious. Livio was great instructor and very knowledgeable and is great at what he does. And Max is definitely a mad scientist of gelato. His experiment is super awesome!

Ok here we go.. The Farmhouse was wonderful, making Pizza and Gelato was a tremendous amount of fun! We and everyone else loved it. The only issue there was when leaving it was dark and the difficult walkway going up was a challenge. No Lights. Chris, who was also amazing said they were broke. The poor guy in front of me with a cane fell back twice towards me but I was there to keep him from falling back. As far as Walk About Tours everything was great until the end when the bus driver dropped us off where there was a lot of construction and detours. We were like.. where the heck are we? Some passengers crisscrossed with is probably just as confused. Finally after about 20 minutes we figured out a direction back to our destination.
