Journey to Transylvania: Corvin Castle & Sibiu Day Trip

Both Corvin and Sibiu are worth the visit. We didn't have enough time in Sibiu to enjoy the place more. Sibiu is a beautiful little town and half an hour extra for pictures would make the experience much better. In Corvin you have to decide between having enough time to visit the castle and have time only for a snack or not have enough time at the castle and have time for lunch. We opted for the first option since the castle is very interesting. This could also improve. Our guide was also knowledgable and nice.

I had a wonderful experience on this day trip. The guide was excellent — friendly and full of fascinating stories that brought both Corvin Castle and the beautiful city of Sibiu to life. Despite the distance, the time flew by, and the logistics were seamless. This tour is a must for anyone interested in history or architecture and based in Timișoara!

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart the guide Sergio was with me like a big brother to me, he explained everything to me in Corbin Castle and in the city of Sibiu. I am simply an amazing guy. I highly recommend him. A dear man, simply a treasure and a good soul. Of course, in the future I will choose him again. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is still our favorite memory. This was my second time here. I ate here in 2023, and wanted to return. The menu is simple In their simplicity, the gentle flavors stand out and don’t get confused and overwhelmed. And our favorite wine we had here as well. The owner is very sweet and welcoming.

The guide, Sergiu, is knowledgeable, communicative, and effervescent. We gained deep insight about the history and culture of Romania. We had a wonderful time.

We went to Sibiu with Sergio who is a wonderful guide and also an excellent driver. He provided us with lots of information. Sibiu is a beautiful city which we really enjoyed visiting. On our way back to Timisoara we took a tour of Corvin Castle which also was a very interesting place to visit. Even though it takes almost 3 hours to get to Sibiu, it was not boring for a single moment because Sergio did not get tired answering all our questions. It was a wonderful day! I had the pleasure of having Sergiuas our guide to Sibiu and Corvin Castle. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel to when we were dropped it was an action packed day. He took his time and made the effort to ensure we appreciated the history of each location and its beauty. We went behind the scenes to view what many people may have missed if they didn’t have an expert at the helm like Sergiu. I felt connected to my Romanian roots.
