Unforgettable Sahara: 3-Day Marrakech Luxury Desert Camp

It was an amazing trip. The guides and the drivers were really friendly and helpful, especially Mohammad and Fahid. Excellent structure in the desert camp. I truly recommend the experience.

After this trip I am lost for words. All the staff have been so kind and accommodating to everyone. Special thanks to our tour guide Ahmed and our driver Ibrahim. Such wonderful people and will be forever grateful to them for showing us around. The bus journey is quite long but was expected. We stopped plenty of times for bathroom breaks and such so gives you a chance to stretch your legs! The experience is well worth the travel as this is definitly a bucket list experience. From the very beginning it has been amazing. Seeing Ait Bin Haddou Castle first where many famous movies have been filmed was wonderful to then traveling to Dades where we stayed the night. We then travelled to a beautiful valley on our way to the desert and then after that of course the main event, the desert itself!! What a wonderful experience and I will definitely be recommending this trip to all my friends and family!! Having the opportunity to stay in the desert with such wonderful people has been amazing and once again special thanks to Ahmed for making sure that we’re all having fun! The entertainment around the camp fire at night will be unforgettable! Once again thank you for everything!

This excursion has certainly been an amazing experience. We have seen the most beautiful sceneries and lived through bucket list experiences thanks to our tour guide Ahmed as-well as our hardworking driver Ibrahim! Couldn’t have gotten luckier with the staff that brought us around to see and experience everything! Ahmed has been so accommodating and fun! Speaks so many languages and always making sure that everyone is having fun. We’ve had plenty of fun with him being around. We have met so many different people from all over the world that we shared our experience with and for that I’ll be forever thankful. From start to finish the excursion has been phenomenal. Getting to learn about different traditions and culture has been by far my favourite part aswell as having the chance to stay the night in the Sahara Desert! The entertainment in our camp was unreal, from the likes of playing football with the locals, to the music and dancing around the campfire at night! Although it is quite the journey to get there, if you are fit, patient and willing to travel then this is definitely the trip for you. We have had a wonderful time and cannot recommend this company enough!!!

I loved most everything about the tour, but the desert camp was a highlight for me. Be prepared for a long 3-day tour with lots of stops for photos. There were about 12 of us on a smaller bus with Hassan, our driver (he gets 5-stars - big shout-out!!). Pro-tip - on day 1, have breakfast BEFORE you get on the bus. The first coffee/break stop was about 2.5 hours in. The desert camp was very comfortable - the food and evening entertainment were excellent. Checked off a few bucket list items: camel riding; glamping in the Sahara desert under the full moon; stargazing; desert sunrise and sunset; sand boarding. Definitely recommend the tour for an excellent desert/Moroccan experience. The only complaint I have is during our visit to Aït Benhaddou we were joined by several other tour busses. It is a gorgeous site, historically important and I would have loved to explore it on our own rather than with a big crowd. It was very hot and the large number of people made it difficult to see and learn about the site. We (4 of us) were the only English-speakers and they tried to give us an English guide, but it all got lost in the mess of other people who had French, Spanish or Arabic guides. To be fair, our tour operator may not have had a choice in how the site tours are operated.

Pick was smooth. There were two vehicles needed for the number of people that booked. We were placed in a 9 passenger van the remainder were in a luxury van. Our driver did not speak much English. Because of this we were unable to ask any questions. The music was a mix of Arabic, American and Moroccan. There were many times the driver passed cars and it was a close call to oncoming traffic. There were many stops a long the way. The main guide who did speak English provided us with basic information about each spot. Stops were quick 15 minutes to 30 minutes depending. Each place had its fair share of locals trying to sell there goods. Lunch was preplanned spots. One spot you were able to choose between 6 different dishes. The other 2 were buffets. One good one awful. Plan to spend 150 dirham $15 US. Our over night spot left much to be desired considering American standards. The thin mattress was placed on a slab of concrete. We slept but could have been better. Plan on a Berber breakfast which is normal. Dinner was not great and drinks were not included. We stopped at a place where the Game of Thrones was filmed. That was about an hour. About 4pm day 2 we arrived in Marzouga. This is what we came for and it did not disappoint. This part of the 3 days deserves a 5. The camel ride, accommodations, food, show and desert were great. We saw the sunrise and then were back on the road for a ten hour drive back to Marrekesh. I was disappointed with not having an English speaking driver, a non luxury vehicle, accomodations that were sub par on day 1, and lunch spots that ran out of food. The desert itself did not disappoint. Would I go with this group again. Probably not. All things considered it was not equal to all participating. Money should have been partially refunded when they ran out of the protein at lunch. An English speaking guide would have been informative to what we were seeing. All in bring an extra $75 US for lunches, drinks and to purchase a head scarf.

Chin Chin is the best guide EVER!!!! He’s so funny and entertaining. He made us very comfortable and was careful to translate things to Spanish Portuguese and English so everyone felt great!!! I loved this tour and would definitely recommend it!!!

After extensive research and recommendations from friends, I chose this tour for my birthday celebration, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment our guide, Amid, picked us up from the airport, his incredible humor and hospitality set the tone for a perfect adventure. The experience was flawless: a beautiful hotel, delicious food, and an incredibly fun and clean desert camp. We were immersed in the local culture, learning fascinating facts that made the journey even more enriching. Despite being in a group of Portuguese speakers, the team seamlessly provided all information in both Spanish and English, ensuring we never missed a thing. The highlight was the incredibly thoughtful surprise cake 🎂, a personal touch that meant the world to me. This tour offers exceptional value for the price and delivers a truly five-star experience. I cannot recommend it highly enough and will absolutely be returning with friends and family!🫂✨
