Unforgettable D-Day: Normandy American Beaches Full Day Tour

This is an excellent overview of the Normandy Landings and battle. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided excellent discussion.

It was windy and at times very uncomfortable! Speeches could have been cut or arrangements made to stand in more comfortable place Also for older people standing in one spot for so long is difficult Legs stiffen! The guide was wonderful and personable which helped!

Tom was an awesome guide from start to finish. Tom gave us history along the drive to Normandy! His knowledge and passion for history was insatiable! We felt like we were there in the water, marching on the beach, feeling everything our soldiers felt and who died for our country. Tom also helped us locate a relative of a friend of ours and it was so special and moving. We would highly recommend Tommy’s tours to anyone. Thank you Tom for an amazing full day!.

Tour guide was very lackluster - I got the feeling he didn’t want to be there. I will say that my friends, on same tour with a different guide thought their guide was good. Our guide, Terry, talked too long about subjects that did not require lengthy coverage and did not clearly convey information about the more important topics. Also, his directions about lunch were unclear and confusing (Where? When?), as opposed to my friends’ guide who provided clear information, as one would expect. In summary, would not recommend this guide who made the experience a disappointing one for me.

Wonderful small group tour visiting several key sites associated with D-Day. Our guide Adrian was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job, enhanced by a notebook of graphics, in explaining the D-Day events and what we would be seeing at each site. Adrian interacted with each of the tour guests along the way to ensure questions were answered and that everyone was good.
