We spent the whole day in the park enjoying a complete entertainment. From the natural river flow to the pre-Hispanic and typical performances. Despite the season the place was not so crowded. We were a little worried since the show ends at night and the way in through the jungle can't be crossed walking. Forcedly we had to hire a taxi to take us back to the hotel. Staff is friendly and professional. We consider a fair price for what you get. But souvenirs and photos are quite expensive.

Beautiful rooms and great amenities. Mexico Spectacular show was amazing! They need more communication and better lay out and signs for first time visitors. Also need more water fountains to keep the public hydrated without spending tons of money to buy the fluid.

I come to Cancun once a year, and Xcaret is always a place we have to visit. It truly is a magical place that everyone needs to visit once in their lifetime.

What am amazing day, you need the whole day to experience and explore everything, maybe two days to fit everything in. I recommended swimming with the dolphins, you get hands on with them and it's worth every penny, not expensive either. Definitely do the underground swim in the caves, water was a beautiful temperature and the scenery is stunning . Take water proof shoes, a water bottle, you can refill around the park for free, I'd probably do the swimming first on my next visit.. there's plenty to walk around and see if you don't want to do the swimming . Staff are very friendly and helpful too. They all clearly enjoy what they do .

This was an absolutely fantastic day out. There is so much to do and see here and everything is very well kept. The areas with the animals are fantastic, the aviary probably being my favourite. The underground rivers that we swam in were spectacular and were such a unique thing to do. The food at Oaxaca restaurant was also excellent with a huge variety to choose from and to top it off the show at the end of the day was excellent and very well done. I would love to come back again!

I’ve travelled to around 50 countries and Xcaret is genuinely one of the most unique attractions I’ve ever visited. The underground rivers alone are worth the trip - swimming through them is stunning and magical, and the water is shallow enough that you always feel safe. The animal areas are all well done and interesting, and the park has plenty of beaches and quiet spots to relax when you need a break. I also paid extra for the snorkelling experience, which was run professionally with no time wasted - a great add-on you should definitely consider. One of the most unexpectedly interesting parts of the park was the Mexican cemetery. It’s something most tourists wouldn’t usually see on a trip to Mexico and it adds a memorable layer to the day. The Xcaret México Espectacular show is the perfect way to end the visit - varied entertainment, and a lively and fun atmosphere.

The park is absolutely beautiful! The animal habitats are spacious and designed to feel completely natural, with flowing streams, waterfalls, and lush vegetation throughout. We especially enjoyed the butterfly house, aviary, dolphins, and tortoises — each area was thoughtfully maintained and easy to explore. Be prepared to walk quite a bit, but the park is easy to navigate by following the colored tiles (blue, red, black, or green) embedded in the walkways. We stopped for lunch at Las Bocas Restaurant (#41 on the map), an open-air spot that turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas, which were absolutely amazing — perfectly seasoned and fresh. My husband enjoyed a cold beer served in a frosty glass, and I had their fresh-squeezed lemonade, which was refreshing on a warm day. The total was around $50 USD, which we felt was an excellent value for the quality and service. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The park also features two rivers you can swim in — one easy and one more challenging. We chose the more advanced one. The first half was smooth and relaxing, but the second half swims against the current, so you’ll need to be a confident swimmer. In most areas, you can’t touch the bottom, so I wouldn’t recommend this one for young kids or weak swimmers. Definitely bring water socks, as some of the rocks you might brush against are sharp and lava-like. Life jackets are required for both rivers, and fins are available if you want them (we chose to go without). There are multiple locker areas for towels and clothes, and you’re allowed to bring your own water bottles — there are refill stations throughout the park. They also sell canned water for about $20 pesos. We purchased our tickets through Viator, and upon arrival, we exchanged the electronic tickets for wristbands at the ticket window (photo ID required). We arrived by taxi right at opening, which was perfect because the park stayed quiet for the first few hours before the bus groups arrived. All in all, this park was a fantastic experience — beautiful scenery, well-cared-for animals, delicious food, and plenty to explore. We’d absolutely recommend it and would love to visit again!

Absolutely incredible!! 🤩🫶🏼🇲🇽 The best day out we had there by far!! It’s a long day for sure but so worth it! The underground rivers were amazing to swim through, we swam the whole way! But there are multiple points for you to get out and walk if you get tired of swimming etc. We also paid to swim with the nurse sharks which was an unreal experience 🤩 the staff were really informative and professional, handling the sharks with such care. I just wish we had the option to have a private swim with them, rather than a group because the rest of the group was American and they’re ever so loud all the time. Shouting over the shark handlers when they tried to explain some things and making a scene. I think they thought at times that we were all there to look at them instead of the sharks 😳 apart from all that though it was an excellent experience. My partner went on the adrenalina and absolutely loved it too! The included buffet was very nice, with a beautiful view of the sea turtles below. The cultural show was great! We were skeptical about whether or not we would enjoy it but we really did! The Mayan ballgames were awesome! What a show 🤩 definitely recommend visiting Xcaret to anyone.
