Luxury Lake Como Day Trip: Private Bellagio Boat Cruise

The trip was overall good and well organized. The guide was friendly and the itinerary was interesting. However, the bus seats were quite narrow and uncomfortable for a long ride. Also, the ferry part of the tour was shorter than expected — it felt more like a bus trip than a boat experience. Still, it was an enjoyable day overall.

Carolina was great, she spoke both English and Spanish well which was great and the tour was very cohesive. We took the routes she recommended and the timing worked out beautifully. It was a nice tour.

The tour covered a lot of areas around Lake Como, while allowing for time to explore Lake Como and Bellagio areas. It also included a one hour boat tour. The tour director continually provide narrations throughout the day. We did run into heavy traffic upon returning in Milan.

Everything was planned on time and wonderful. We were able to see a lot along the way and our guide Andrea was very friendly and knowledgeable

It should be noted in the description that there is no bathroom on the bus or boat. It is a 1 hour trip to Como. Then you have 1.5 hours on your own. No tour. Then a 1 hour trip to the boat. Then 1 hour on the boat. The tour guide provides narration, but people are rude and have loud conversations, completely ignoring the guide. Then 1.5 hours in Bellagio on your own. No tour. Then a 15 min boat ride back to the bus. And finally a 3.5 hour bus ride back to Milan. It should also be suggested that there is a minimum age of 10. They constantly remind you to find a toilet before getting on the bus/boat, however to do that you have to make a purchase at a bar/restaurant. I would not recommend this tour.

The trip was a wonderful experience. Very professional guide and driver. Lunch at Bellagio at a lakeside restaurant was a real highlight.

Lake Como is definitely worth seeing and Bellagio was beautiful as well. We had time to explore on our own, explore the towns and eat to our hearts content. We were recommended a gelateria and a restaurant, both were nice. The tour guide and driver were good. Tour guide taught us a bit of Italian phrases as well. I enjoyed the boat rides and seeing the beauty of Lake Como. I definitely understand why it is so well-known. The tour made it easy to get around and explore without any worries. The only thing, I noticed some reviews prior to booking said their tour (the same tour) also included Lugano, Switzerland, whereas ours did not. I feel every tour should be relatively the same with inclusions and it's unfair to be paying the same price for the same tour to give a different experience depending on the day/tour guide/driver etc. It should be the same inclusions, either included or not. Also, when booking, you choose "English" or "Spanish" tour but there is no reason to choose, the tour is in both. Which was a surprise because I selected English, thinking it would be a fully English tour but the guide will repeat the same lines in both languages, so something to keep in mind. Bring the correct charger (for on the bus) because I did not and my phone died unfortunately towards the end of the day, so I would recommend asking what charger is required or bringing your own power bank for back-up.

Experience overall was good - didn’t stop by to see the Italian gardens and instead went past them with the boat. Coach trip on the way back had no breaks and was exhausting as long and cramped either not much room. Paid extra to have “Aperol spritz’s” included on the boat but that never happened. The whole trip felt a bit rushed as it stated it will take 11 hours but lasted around 6-7hrs. Probably wouldn’t book it again, and don’t spend the extra cash for drinks as you won’t get any.
