Unforgettable Lake Como: Villa Balbianello & Bellagio Exclusive

We Loved it! Small groups makes the experience more personal. Our tour guide was lovely and had good knowledge of everything from local information to the history of Lake Como. Villa Balbianello was breathtaking! And we enjoyed taking our starwars photos there, before having food at one of the local bistros. Would highly recommend this trip.

This tour was led by Violeta, a very knowledgeable, witty and friendly guide. It wasn’t listed in the description, but I would recommend wearing very comfortable sneakers/shoes and bracing yourself for a steep climb, a lot of inclines and varying types of terrains during the walk. Violeta went above and beyond during the tour by helping me figure out the ferry schedule for my activities the next day and covering the cost of my ferry back to Tremezzo instead of Como at the end of the tour. She is a genuine and caring person and I would definitely recommend her tours to everyone.

Our guide, Michael, was excellent. Energetic and informative. Trip was a good way to get a taste of Lake Como and surrounding towns. Lago and Bellagio were beautiful. Nice to have booked our tour. We moved to front of line while others waited over an hour for tickets. We had time to explore a little on our own too. Lots of walking and uphill roads but that’s Italy!

Despite the rain in the early morning by afternoon it settled, this was such a beautiful and breathtaking experience. Highly recommend. I loved how we took our time at Villa Del Ballbianello and then got to explore on our own at Bellagio. Michele was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable and kind. Would do any tour with him again.

Picked up from Como - was great to have her be our tour guide, taking us via fast ferry to villa Balbianello and then onto Bellagio- getting a great understanding of the history along the way. Was great to not have the stress of arriving back on time or having to buy tickets. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing day with Violetta. She is courteous, friendly, very knowledgeable about the local history and has a good sense of humor. The logistics in the Lake Como area are not the easiest, and so this tour is well worth it from that perspective - all the arrangements are made in advance - which means no waiting for tickets or in long lines! My family and I had a very enjoyable day, and I highly recommend this tour. We were a small group of about 10 people, from various parts of the US.

My girlfriend and I had the most magical experience on our Lake Como tour, and it was all thanks to our incredible guide, Violeta. From the moment we met her, she went above and beyond to make sure everyone in the group was taken care of. She knew all the best photo spots (and didn’t hesitate to help us get the perfect shots!), and she expertly navigated us onto the best ferry routes to maximize our time and views. The tour was seamlessly organized. The ferries and entrance fees were all included, which made everything stress-free and enjoyable. Violeta’s knowledge of the area, history, and hidden gems added so much depth to the experience. Her passion for Lake Como was contagious, and her attention to detail made the entire day unforgettable. Very pcturesque, Bellagio was very crowded and expensive and dificult to access e.g. alot of walking up and down hills in 30+C heat. Out side of this the vilalages are very small and quiet with great places to eat, drink and views. ( reasonably priced) Best thing to do, hire a boat and go exploring on the lake, MUST haves - "a car", and a small car, the roads are not made for big cars and italian drivers are something quite special.

It was a good day on the lake, had a knowledgeable guide, that was funny as well knew the history of the area. Villa Balbianello was a point of interest for the teenagers.

Our tour around Lake Como with Violeta was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of the highlights of our two week trip. Violeta was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and took amazing photos of us. This tour is a must-do. Highly recommended!
