Excellent tour with Vagner, who has a wealth of knowledge about the history, culture and religious practices of Salvador. I highly recommend the tour.

I had the most incredible tour with Wandelay. He was attentive, extremely knowledgeable about Brazilian and Salvadorian history, and walked me through the backstory of every point of the tour in great detail. I had a wonderful time because of him and felt I saw every piece of Salvador. Also the transportation and communication were seamless.

Vincente was amazing, the tour was so enriching. A very unique and beautiful experience, you can’t come to Salvador and not do this.

Very interesting tour around the city with experienced guide. Visited both historical sites as well as well-known places for fun and entertainment. Would recommend to have a glimpse of the whole city!

Nilson is a great tour guide, historian, teacher and linguist who was able to bring the rich culture of Salvador alive with storytelling and lived experience.I experienced the established sites and incredible experiences off the beaten path.

I’m not one for booking tours/guides usually- I’m the one with the map and list of places - but after researching what to see in Salvador I decided it was way too big for me to tackle and the best thing would be to use the local expertise. We were in Salvador only for a day off a cruise ship, and whilst the ship sells organised tours we didn’t want to be on a bus load, so my research brought me to Your Tour Brazil. The WhatsApp correspondence beforehand was good, I didn’t have to pay in advance, and felt confident that we would be safe and in good hands. We received a couple of introductory messages from the actual guide Andrei beforehand and he met us at the port on time. We were then collected by a lovely lady driver who drove us around for the first half of the day whilst we jumped in and out at various sites with Andrei who narrated us through the city, the history etc. At lunch time the car dropped us at the start of the historic district so that we could continue our tour of this area on foot. I won’t go into the details of the tour because you can read that on the Tour site, but I will say we were more than happy with our day. We would never have seen so much of Salvador or learnt so much of the history had we done it alone. Andrei is a lovely young man who spoke very good English, a local who clearly knows and loves his city. It was a pleasure to share a beer with him in one of his favourite bars at the end of the tour.

Fantastic day tour. Marcos is extremely knowledgeable about the cultural and historical context of the city, and a full day tour gave me a great idea on the background of Salvador and where it fits into the history of Brazil. I would highly recommend doing this tour towards the beginning of your stay in Salvador, so you can get an idea of the layout of the city as well as a basic knowledge of the history and culture. I would also recommend this tour for solo travers and groups alike--it's a great chance to ask questions about Brazilian culture as a whole or life in Salvador in particular.

Excellent is best description. Wilson has so much historical knowledge to share and provided context & comparisons that made the tour exceptional. Great sense of humor as well. Would definitely love to go on other tours with him. Also, our driver was amazing and a really nice person. Appreciated him too!

We would not know as much about Brazil if it wasn't for Your Tour Brazil and our favorite tour guide Wilson. He is extremely passionate, funny, and friendly. No textbook can give you more information than what Wilson did. He is a true gem of Brazil and we were luck to have him as our tour guide and now friend. Enjoyable for all ages.
