Silver Springs Kayak Rental - The Best Florida Adventure

Great service, very punctual. We have used Discovery kayaks for years, every chance we get to kayak the Silver River. The start is at Silver Springs State Park and we use the Discovery Kayak shuttle back after a 3 hour paddle down river. Always an awesome experience with all the wildlife in and around the river.

Ryan was so patient with us, we're a group of women who come to Silver Springs twice a year, this year we had 11 women (there are 14 in the group) and we had to cancel in October and transfer the rentals to this May. No problem! Ryan had our kayaks waiting for us at the park, and we loved the sit on top kayaks even though we hadn't tried them before. He carries them to the launch and helps us launch. Very comfortable, easy to use, and the pick up service at the end is a quick return and reliable. Highly recommend Discovery Kayaks. First time using them for most of us. Thank you!! We'll be coming back and using again. BTW the spring is amazing full of baby birds, gators, manatees, and tons of monkeys.

Discovery Kayaks is amazing! I had friends come into town a few weeks ago, we did self-guided kayaking here; I had such an amazing time that I rebooked for my husband and I. Silver Springs is beautiful & peaceful. Self-guided takes about 3 hours, there’s a dock about half way through for restroom break needs, & they pick you up at the end of the run to drive you back. We will definitely be booking with Discover Kayaks again in the future!

My wife had never been in a kayak before in her life. The young fellow helping to launch us (Josh) was wonderful & helped aleve her concerns and made her comfortable trying on her own. We were planning to use a double kayak but used single ones instead. The trip downstream was perfect! We saw fish, all kinds of birds, alligators and Manatees, all without having to paddle very strenuously. My only advice would be to contact Discovery Kayak Tours directly via their website vs. booking with a third party on Tripadvisor.

Fantastic company to rent kayaks from. Very comprehensive and we waiting for us at the pull out meeting place. We had a great time on the 5.6 miles of the river.

Booked 2 solo kayaks 2/7 via Kayaking Florida thru Silver Springs State Park. Our rental was for noon to 2 pm. Easy web site. Joe at the park was great. Off we went with some tips. No manatees but a river otter!!!!

They didn’t show they had a booking from us. After asking around another company helped us find someone. We finally got on the water 35 minutes late. They said Viator didn’t notify them or the email was lost.
