Rio's Ultimate Full-Day: Christ, Sugarloaf & Selarón

The tour was terrific! The guide managed our day to ensure we are able to see everything without waiting in too many lines. Had a fun and informative informative experience with my fellow travelers who were largely of Spanish speaking veterinarians in Rio de Janeiro for a conference. I had a great day and recommend this tour.

Amazing tour! Lorraine was such a great tour guide, very helpful, enthusiastic and experienced. She knew exactly how to avoid by crowds at the Sugarloaf and Christ by optimizing the order of the stops on the day. We had almost no queues because of her experience! Also, during the tour through the city she shared many interesting insights about Rio with us. I would highly recommend this tour, it was very professional!

Very nice Trip. Julia was a good and friendly guide and the busdriver was also very good and friendly. One thing could have been better. We First visited sugarloafmountain and in the afternoon corcovado. The wether was in the morning better and im the afternoon a bit cloudy so we could not see much at the Christstatue. Maybe next time First corcovado and afterwards the sugarloafmountain. But apart from that everything was very nice :)

Very pleased with the tour. We had plenty of time at all the stops. Our guide, Camilla, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Communication from the tour company from the time of booking to time of pick up was excellent. The only issue was that the maximum tour size of 15 was exceeded meaning that every seat was taken in the tour van leading to some tension between passengers, although Camilla quickly dealt with this satisfactorily.

My husband and I just had an amazing tour with Camila and the driver. They took really good care of us during the whole trip. Camila timed each site perfectly, so we could avoid long lines and crowd. We also don’t feel rushed at all, had enough time for each site. We didn’t have high expectations for the included meal, but it turned out pretty tasty. The driver’s driving is very professional and not aggressive at all. We sat in front seats with him, and truly enjoyed the ride. Thank you so much Camila and the driver( sorry I don’t know how to spell his name) to show the best of Rio in a day, we won’t be able to accomplish half of what we did if we were on our own!

This was an excellent tour. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to experience Rio De Janeiro. The tour guide, Camila, was excellent and very knowledgeable about Rio De Janeiro.

Camila was my guide and she was incredible! So much knowledge, and a lot of logistics was well needed in my group she made great decisions that saved us a lot of time at the quque!

Our guide, Cassio, and the driver were 5 stars out of 5, really friendly and made every effort to make the day the best it could be. The experience was let down by the large number on the tour (19), and the awful lunch - BUT, the tour company took our negative feedback on board and went out of their way to recover the situation so well done to them!

Very complete tour of the major sights of Rio De Janiero. Communications from the company were very good over WhatsApp and also from our Tour guide Gustavo who was excellent. As the morning was cloudy we adjusted the tour to see the Selaron Steps and Metropolitan Cathedral first, before heading to Christ the Redeemer. Lunch was at a buffet restaurant “Gusto” which had an extensive choice for lunch (drinks and desserts not included). The rest of the afternoon was spent ascending Sugar Loaf mountain via two cable cars. On the whole we fast tracked our way through any ticket queues but had to wait for the most part for buses and cable cars with the other visitors. The only thing we didn’t do was drive past Ipanema. Picked up at 8.30am, dropped off at 5.15pm from our hotel on Copacabana. 20 people in the group. The vehicle was a clean converted transit minibus. Gustavo the guide was very good switching between Spanish and English, without any hesitation. He was also pretty funny with his explanations. Enough information without going overboard. He also kept the group together too.

This was an incredible experience. I have been to Rio a few times in the past but this was my wife’s first time. The tour was wonderful. Our guide, Gustavo, was incredible. He was fun and friendly and informative. It was very impressive to hear him to go from English to Spanish, and then back to his native Portuguese. He kept everyone on schedule so we got to see all the sights and icons of this beautiful city. We ate great food at a Lu ch spot to split the day. Started with Christ the Redeemer and finished with Sugar Loaf. Everything was smooth and fun. The most convenient part was pick up and drop off at our hotel. I highly recommend you take this tour especially if your time in Rio is limited.
