Stefy had great knowledge about the city and lots of stories to tell. It was a good mix of historical and cultural places with interesting foods and drinks to try. Definitely recommended!

It was wonderful. Stefy was very knowledgeable, kind, and very patient. She prepared us for everything we would do during the tour. She knew every little detail about the locations and gastronomy. I highly recommend her for anybody thinking about doing this walking tour.

Daniel was a brilliant guide - friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tour, which was a great way to orientate around the city on our first day. Only missing 1 star because we would have liked more savoury (rather than sweet) snacks and maybe a chance to go into some of the cultural sites. But still highly recommended!

I booked this experience and showed up a day early for it. Luckily Tefy was running a tour that day. She was amazing, she asked if I’d just like to join her group since I was there. So happy I did, she was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and cool!!! The tour went around to the major buildings, churches and independence square. Tefy gave us so much information and we had fun doing all the tastings. Book this tour!!! It was the best way to learn Quitos history and try the local snacks and drinks.

Stefy guided us around old town with enthusiasm and humour. Lots of interesting information and some areas we wouldn't have discovered wandering around ourselves. Don't expect lots of food on the grastromic part of the tour as it's 'tastes' rather than meals. So very glad I'd had breakfast. There were (small) drinks, a half sandwich, etc. in several different bars, finishing with a chocolate tasting. We enjoyed it.

Our guide Vivi was excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and energetic. The title of the tour is a bit misleading. It was less a gastronomic tour and much more a cultural and historical tour of Quito. Unfortunately, we booked a city tour for the next day, which covered much of the same places and subjects. Often after a gastronomic tour I am completely full. Not so on this tour. The tastings were small (and our first one wasn’t for over an hour after starting). Also be forewarned, in addition to Quito’s high altitude, this walking tour took us up several steep hills. If you go in fully informed, it’s a good tour. But plan a meal before or after.
