Private Quito: Unforgettable Teleferico & Equator Tour

Gustavo is an outstanding tour guide, excellent in every respect. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and quite creative in our timing (which was affected by the visit of the Peru president), Can't do better than him.

This was a great way to see many of the popular sites in Quito! My guide Kathy was so friendly, is an excellent driver (also has a very clean vehicle), and is extremely knowledgeable and willing to share so much information about her beautiful country. We visited the Intiñan Equator Museum, Teleférico, Basílica del Voto Nacional, Independence Monument, Basilica of San Francisco, and topped the tour off with a chocolate tasting and the best brownie and hot chocolate. Kathy is very patient and also happens to be a great personal photographer. I highly recommend taking this tour of Quito with Kathy.

A full day of sightseeing and experiencing some of the highlights of Quito. Pato, our tour guide, was amazing. His knowledge of his hometown and its history was vast and we learned a great deal about this characterful capital city of Ecuador. He tailored the trip according to our preferences in terms of time spent at each attraction and accommodated an additional stop to see hummingbirds, after mentioning we love wildlife and are keen birders. We would highly recommend this trip.

Pato was an amazing guide: very knowledgeable of the history of Quito, geology and biology. He was able to add a stop (a small nature preserve with hummingbirds on the edge of the cloud forest) and shortened the stop at Mitad del Mundo to save time. Great visit to the teleforico and walking tour of downtown Quito. Pato is very friendly, let me practice speaking my mediocre Spanish, and stopped at a great empanada café with locals.

Carolina was an amazing guide! this is an excellent full day tour of Quito and the Equator Museum. The latter experience was especially good for kids to learn about the Coriolis effect and centrifugal forces and a lot of science fun. We were in Quito on their celebration of the Founding Day of Quito and hence the crowds were a bit too much. But that is not the fault of the guide or the company. If you have a family of at least 3-4 people, a private tour is the way to go for more flexibility at a modest increase in cost over group tours.

Good tour. Rain affected some of tour. Even so the tour guide was excellent. We ended the day at a restaurant with an Ecuadorian menu.

Galindo was excellent. He was on time and friendly. He had such love for his country. To learn about the region through his eyes was a gift. Galindo also had contacts everywhere!!! This made our experience seamless. It was an interesting tour made so much better because of him. Request Galindo!!!

Galindo was amazing: fun, knowledgeable, and this group of four managed and on time…. He arranged a great day for us seeing so many sites and a most delicious lunch! Pato was an amazing tour guide! He allowed us to take our time at all the spots, and even took us to a market yo try local fruits. Pato is super knowledgeable about Quito and the country of Ecuador, and we had so much fun touring the city! I would highly recommend this tour if you only have one day in the city!
