Sacromonte Magic: Exclusive Granada Gypsy Cave Experience

We met near the main fountain and the guide took time to plan a structured walk around Albecein and Sacramento. It was one of the highlights of our trip so far and would suggest this walk if wanting a history lesson on a fantastic region.

Nacho is very well informed and easy to understand . Very enjoyable walk . I learned loads . I was supposed to walk yesterday but it rained and the company rescheduled me . I didn't have to do anything.

Nacho was a great guide. He provided lots of history and legend to the Albaicin and Sacromonte areas. His descriptions and information was quite colorful.

If you want to explore a side of Granada that is away from the tourist center, take this fascinating walk up into the hills where the Gypsies live. Nacho, our tour guide, was excellent and I would highly recommend asking for him. He combines a great historic perspective with respect for the Gypsies along with some humor that helps frame their struggles. The tour ends with a spectacular view of the Alhambra and City.

This was a FANTASTIC use of our time, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Granada. Our guide - Pedro - took us through the Sacromonte neighborhood and gave us some great insight into the the history, culture, and showed us some fantastic views of the city. Honestly, I enjoyed this better than the Alhambra even. Note to anyone interested - going to Sacromonte is definitely a hike, so make sure you are up for the physical challenge of it. It isn't too much, but know what you are signing up for. The guides do a great job of making this known before the tour as well.

Different interesting walk up the Mountain with wonderful views over Granada, Alhambra and Generalife. Done at sunset offered spectacular colores. Our guide Sabine planned walk with various stops to take breath during ascend and told us a lot both historically as well as curiosities. She is well prepared and kind. The walk is quite long and with medium difficulty to reich s.Miguel at 950mt level. Remember to use confortable or trekking shoes. The Tour takes 2,5 to 3 hours. Lovely experience. We've walked in Granada before. This Tour, with Alain, was even better than last time. It avoids all the sites of power and wealth and concentrates on the hidden history of Granada, visiting the area behind Sacromonte, the cave dwellings, and the excellent viewpoints above the Alhambra. Alain was an excellent guide.
