Uncover Granada's Soul: Albayzín & Sacromonte UNESCO Walk

Our guide, Sandra, is enthusiastic, professional and knowledgeable with good English. The itinerary is great, seeing both the expected points and more subtle things that the average tourist would be unlikely to know about. I highly recommend this tour. Like all of the "free" tours, a gratuity is appropriate.

Ana was a great guide. Unfortunately we had a camera fanatic with a selfie stick in our group that stood in front of everyone… I don’t think he realized there were other people in the group that may want to take pictures too.

I got a great overview of two historic neighborhood and particularly of the relationship between the Muslims and Christians who lived there. There was a lot of walking, up and down hills, but that also allowed for some spectacular views. Jaime was an excellent and knowledgeable guide.

Leti is amazing and funny guide. I really enjoyed, thaaaanks a lot! The castle is amazing, I never saw something like that before!

Amazing tour of the Albayzin and Sacromonte neighborhoods! Our guide Marc was awesome. We learned about the history of the neighborhoods, legends and inside stories on the locals know about. Marc was very personable and has a great technique of engaging his guests in fun and interesting ways. Lots of laughter.

We went on the ‘free tour’ with Raymond. It was an excellent way to experience the city. On these tours you pay at the end what you think it is worth. I thoroughly recommend this tour as a way to see and understand some of the city’s history.

Albaycin is the oldest neighborhood in Grenada, even predating the Alahambra. It’s a lovely area with many narrow cobblestone streets sometimes with stairs stretching over the hills. It’s very easy to get lost & having a guide to show us the way while giving us the history was helpful. It contains miradors with great views over Grenada & the Alahambra, especially at sunset. We weren’t required to rush either along the walk nor at breaks to take pictures.

We had a brilliant tour of the essentials of Granada and lower Albacin with our tour guide Mark. He made the tour very interesting, was very knowledgeable about the history and he also made the tour fun. We also had a great tour of Albacin and Sacremonte with Ruben. He was very knowledgeable and could always answer many questions. For free walking tours this was great. Both tours were in English and both tour guides spoke the language very well. I would recommend to book on to these tours if you are in Granada a short time and would like to learn about the city and surrounding areas with other people.

We had a great tour in Albayzin and Sacromonte with a guide (sorry we forgot her name) who lived in the neighborhood. She was really enthousiast and had a lot to tell. Because our tour was at 16h we could enjoy the beautiful sunset in Sacromonte. Recommended.

Our guide (who was from Almería but we’ve forgotten his name, sorry!!) was absolutely wonderful! We learned so much from him! Beautiful views and lots of info! Thank you!
