Ultimate South Coast Journey: Waterfalls, Glaciers & Beaches

This was a great way to be taken to see some of the wonderful waterfalls and the stunning black sand beaches of Iceland. The tour size was nicely small, 12 people, and our guide was able to keep us informed and entertained on a long tour day. The only short fall was the visit to Vik, it was just an overview of the town, and the time could have been better used to take us into the town for lunch and for walking in what seemed to be a beautiful seaside town. This was the only negative, the rest of the tour provided great trips to the many waterfalls and the glaciers that make this tour really worth taking. It is a great introduction to Iceland's southern coast. This tour group does a very good job in taking care of its people, and is very reasonable and give you plenty of time to explore the many sites you are exposed to. Highly recommend.

This tour still went ahead despite it being the heaviest snowfall in October for many years! Dud to the weather the tour was running late and also more snow was expected. This made the tour seem rushed and visibility was poor so couldn’t see the things Maria was telling us about! Maria was funny and informative and she managed to get us back to Reykjavík safely in treacherous conditions! Saw some amazing waterfalls and the black sand beach

Maria was our guide on a wonderful South coast tour! She made sure we were safe and everything ran smoothly on time. She was very knowledgeable sharing information about each stop. I appreciated her concern about us being safe at the black sand beach with the sneaker waves. I had never heard of sneaker waves before and thank Maria for letting us know how to stay away from the dangerous sneaker waves. Lunch was great at the black sand beach. We had a traditional turnip soup and salami and cheese sandwich. Very good! There were multiple pasta and other options for everyone. Great tour on a small bus.

This is a great trip to south coast although this is our first time here. Saw many great sites. Rebecca was a wealth of information about Iceland.

Our Guide was very knowledgeable and thoughtful with her time explaining in details all the sites along the way. Fantastic driver on Iceland's challenging terrain.

What an amazing day trip! Thor was our tour guide and he was super informative and kept the longer stretches of drive entertaining. Overall was a long day, around 10 hours, but they do a great job breaking up the stops so it doesn't feel quite so long on the bus. We lucked out with some great weather but would recommend bringing an extra change of clothes if you don't have the proper exterior waterproof gear (as you can get pretty close to the waterfalls!). The bus size was also another plus, having the smaller tour group was a lot less stressful than past tours I have gone on. Would recommend to anyone interested in seeing Iceland's coast!

We two adults had a marvelous time on this tour! We were able to go behind a waterfall, see a variety of animals and villages, and explore some little-known places. The guide was interesting and answered all questions well! Recommended for all over 10 years old!

Great experience to see the south coast of Iceland. The waterfalls were majestic and sing. The glacier up close was well with the trip.

We had a wonderful day. Thanks to his excellent time management, we were able to explore comfortably without rushing anywhere. On the way back, the weather cleared up and since we still had time, he even showed us an extra, lesser-known spot. At the beginning of the trip, one of the passenger mentioned he didn’t want to listen to music. However, Simon handled the situation professionally, explaining that there were other people in the vehicle and their opinions should also be considered. Everyone else was quite happy with the music.
