Our tour of Mount Wellington was perfect. We had enough time to explore the area and enjoy the breathtaking views. Our guide Mike was excellent and knowledgeable as well.

I booked this tour before I knew the weather forecast so was a bit hesitant when it showed clouds. It didn't matter though because even in the mist, the view was incredible! It even snowed a little which was exciting to me. It is cold and windy so layer up! I wish I could remember our drivers name as he was informative and gave great tips on local spots. This tour was probably the best way to get up the mountain as you've got someone else driving you up all those tight, winding roads! The view getting up there and back was also stunning.

I had heard several times that seeing Mount Wellington from the top was a must do, but I was wishy-washy. So glad that my husband and I did take the explorer bus up to the top. It was windy and a spectacular view of 1/3 of Tasmania! Christian was our tour guide and an experienced Driver over very windy and challenging roads, He pulled over for us to stretch our legs and view a special spot which emphasized the dramatic scenery of Tasmania, as well as a waterfall so that we could get out and experience it directly all of this before we even reach the top! Christian proved to be one of the best guides my husband and I have had the privilege of knowing and this is over several years of traveling. This tour is well worth your time and if you’re fortunate, you may get to have Christian as your guide!

Brilliant Thankyou Paul. Very informative and funny tour with Paul. It’s nice to engage with others when traveling alone. Top of the mountain was freezing but well worth the trip. Views were stunning but the wind was absolutely fierce.

Interesting and fun experience, especially when the weather is extreme - the very strong wind can really make this experience very unique. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who provide a great commentary.
