Bruny Island Wildlife Cruise: Breathtaking Day Trip from Hobart

Make sure you take gloves and beanies. It gets very cold on the other side. It also gets extremely rough out there. I usually get seasick, but I took tablets before and I got through it. It is a really great experience

This tour is unreal. Wear warm clothing and have the ride of your life. This is not the tour to go on if you get sea sickness

What a great time we had on this Pennicott cruise. Everyone from our bus driver Josh who was very friendly and knowledgeable to Jordi who accompanied us on the boat and was attentive and knowledgeable and to our skipper who happened to be Robert Pennicott himself! We had challenging conditions but at no time did we feel unsafe. This company feels like a close knit family. The morning tea and lunch were also delicious and sourced from local produce. Would highly recommend this tour.

The full day Bruny Island cruise we experienced at Pennicott Cruises exceeded our expectations. All the staff from the check-in ladies at Hobart harbour to the Adventure Bay staff were so friendly and fully trained in customer satisfaction. A special mention though goes out to our driver and tour guide for the day Ollie. Ollie added that special something to the day from his comments about the Tasmanian wildlife to the local history and of course his safe driving. Also our boat captain “Mick” had some very funny jokes and tales about the landmarks on the cruise. Thank you Pennicott.

The trip starts from hobart central , elizabeth pier on a bus . It drives you to a ferry point and the bus is ferried across to bruny island in 20 mins . Then you touch upon all look out points and reach adventure bay where the cruise starts . The cruise is breathtaking with amazing view of the untouched part of the island . You also get to see seals , albatross and if lucky then penguins. The trip is totally worth it . It's a recommended trip if you are in tasmania

Absolutely worth it, all team members amazing to bring the day together. Kate, Lizzie, and Ruby made the day a wonderful experience and so much fun.
