Exclusive Nagano Day: Snow Monkeys, Zen & Sake Indulgence

Ali was very accommodating with our group. He arranged everything for us, he got us as close to the snow monkey park as possible, and he gave us great tips for visiting the temple. Our children don’t do well with structured tours so this was perfect for us.

This private Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple tour was a great day out. Moiz was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The sake tasting was a nice bonus, and the private tour made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

The 1-Day Private Snow Monkey, Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour with Malik in November was excellent. The autumn scenery was beautiful, and Malik provided helpful guidance throughout the day. The Snow Monkey Park was memorable, Zenkoji Temple was culturally rich, and the sake tasting was a great way to end the tour. The pace was comfortable and transportation was smooth. Overall, a very enjoyable and well-organized experience.

We enjoyed our day exploring the Monkey Park. The hike through the forest was beautiful and our guide and driver (Ali and Abdul) did a great job. While we didn’t see many monkeys since it was off season, we had a great day. My advice: go at a different time of year but request Ali and Abdul to be your driver and guide!

We had an amazing time on the 1-Day Private Snow Monkey Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour! From the moment we met our guide, everything was seamless. The Snow Monkeys were such a unique experience, and getting to see them in their natural hot springs was something we’ll never forget. Zenkoji Temple was breathtaking, and learning about its history made the visit even more special. The highlight for us, though, was the sake tasting – a perfect way to end the day! We got to try a variety of local sakes, and the tasting experience was both fun and educational. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nagano – it’s the perfect mix of culture, nature, and a bit of local flavor!

Extremely Disappointed. "Smile" tours misrepresented what it delivers. This is a driver service only. There is no guide for the monkey park or temple. There is no sake tasting. The lunch was not good - it included the worst sushi I've ever had. This company is trying to present itself as another company that actually offers an English speaking guide to the attractions. And it takes longer than 6 hours, since they don't mention the two hour roundtrip drive to the monkey park. Our driver was a nice person but he could have spoken Japanese and it wouldn't have mattered since he barely spoke to us...

Family had a great experience at the snow monkeys! Tour guide super responsive. Made life super easy for teenagers! Would recommend to anyone.
