Once we are all checked in, we take you to our departure point where our drivers will give you a brief chat, answer any questions you may have and get you comfortable in your Buggy. As we make our way out of the Marina the route takes us onto some great off road tracks, starting off through the back of Puerto del Carmen and the town of Tias, winding all the way up to picturesque villages and leading us out into the breathtaking landscape of the La Geria winegrowing region. With the incredible Timanfaya Volcanic Park as a spectacular back drop we motor our way to the Wine Museum & Bodega where we take our main stop for a leg stretch and bite to eat or a coffee at the tapas café if you fancy. This also gives you the opportunity to take some incredible snaps and gather up some points of interest from our friendly and informative drivers.

After reading various buggy company reviews for tours around Lanzarote we booked up with Buggies Lanzarote and we were not disappointed. In fact if there is one tour you choose to do on your holiday it's this one. We started in Puerto Calero and drove around quite a few places including: La Asomada, past the Volcán El Cuervo, and towards Mancha Blanca. Off-road tracks then take us down to La Santa, offering amazing views of La Graciosa, El Islote, and Montaña Roja, La Geria and through Soo. Skirting Timanfaya National Park, driving both on and off-road with spectacular views surrounded by the incredible terrain. We were especially lucky to see the lush vivid green hills and abundance of purple, yellow, and white flowers (which appears every decade following a long wet winter). This tour met all our expectations and more. We even saw a herd of Cabras (goats). I'd happily recommend this company and tour. We swapped driver/passenger a couple of times and took many photos, a memory we will treasure. Our tour guide, Sean was friendly, helpful, and provided lots of useful information. They recommended eating at Azure restaurant in Puerto Calero and this was brilliant too, as they can cater for gluten free dinners.

We had an amazing time exploring some quieter parts of Lanzarote. John was really helpful and made it so easy to just follow him on roads and off-road. Very picturesque, the island is so green at the moment. Definitely bring a face covering and jumper!

What a truly exceptional excursion with Mario. The entire team is amazing. This is our 4th time in 4 years with them and cannot recommend highly enough. We learned fascinating insights and history about the island today from Mario. The buggies are automatic now and very easy to drive. The scenery you drive through is breath taking and beautiful. The little winery is perfect stop but our favourite is the stop at the sea and learning about the lost village as well. Remarkable how the islanders were cut off from the other side of the island in the 18th century but managed to survive from being self sufficient! Fun and exhilarating! Great in the winter or the summer! Superb trip and best team.

We really enjoyed this. We were led by John who gave us clear instructions which made us feel at ease from the onset. We seen some amazing places that we wouldn’t ordinarily see. Would highly recommend.

A great way to see the island enjoy the sun and feel the breeze. Our guide was informative and took good care of us. The small groups this firm do makes it safer and more personal. Thanks to all staff at Buggies Lanzarote.

We had a blast, great fun, staff were all great. Buggies are easy to drive and have enough poke to make it a great laugh. Throughly recommend.

Mario took guided us on a fabulous tour of the Island and shared genuinely interesting information about Lanzarote with us. He made sure to spend time with everyone, checking we all had the best experience possible. It was great fun! Definitely need a scarf/face mask as it’s pretty dusty. We were able to wear our glasses underneath the eye protection provided. I took a light padded jacket with me and was glad if it in the higher areas ( obviously not necessary year round). Hold on to your hats if not very well fitted :0) Decent glove box for small backpack/couple of bottle of drinks. Thanks guys. Great memories.

Really fun experience going off road to areas we didn't know existed. We were a party of four buggies with the organiser leading the way. Staff very good, really good with safety. Highly recommend. Will be doing this again.
