Transform Your Spirit: 12-Day Everest Base Camp Trek

We trekked to Everest Base Camp in late December/early January with our guide Madan and porter Laxman, and it was the trip of a lifetime. Madan’s knowledge, communication, and professionalism were exceptional from start to finish. He answered every question—whether cultural, historical, religious, or just random—with patience and insight. Thanks to him we reached Base Camp safely and enjoyed every part of the journey. His attention to detail and genuine care have cemented Madan as our favourite guide ever, and we can’t wait to return to Nepal!

This was a great experience. Madhav, the owner of the company, was very helpful in planning and customizing the trip to our specifications. He always responded promptly. Both the trek and city tour of Kathmandu were memorable. Our city guide Kesar was very good. Our trek plan was to return via Gokyo after reaching Everest Base Camp. It snowed during our trek (added a different experience), and both our guide Purna and company showed flexibility to change our program so that we got the best experience and still see all the sights planned and managed to go to Gokyo. Our porter Laxman went out of the way to help us with the changed itinerary. I would certainly recommend Mosaic Adventure for your trip.

We had a great experience trekking with Mosaic. Madhav and the team were responsive, helpful and well organised throughout. Our guide, Manos was a star. Always looking out for us and impressively flexible and resourceful - as well as fun to be with. Porters Raj and Kumar went above and beyond. Our trek was the EBC trek plus Cho La Pass and Gokyo lake, returning via the Gokyo valley to Namche and Lukla. Simply beautiful.

My friend and I did the Everest base camp trek with Mosaic, and I can honestly say it was the best experience of my life. Our guide Buddha was absolutely incredible and made the trip extra special, he went above and beyond for us and taught us so much the trek and the Himalayas and also about Nepal and Nepalese culture. I was nervous before we went about the altitude, but the mosaic team and Buddha made me feel very reassured and safe the whole time. The entire experience was so well organised and well run from start to finish, I can’t fault a single thing. The tea houses we stayed in each night were so gorg and cosy and the food was amazing, we got to try local cuisine and absolutely loved it. And the views!!!! I was blown away, I have never seen such incredible scenes in my life and couldn’t get enough. My camera roll is full lol!! Thank you so much for such an incredible trip, I am so glad we chose mosaic and am so grateful to Buddha for making a once in a lifetime trip even more amazing than I could have imagined. We will be back!!

From the moment we began our journey in Lukla, Buddha made us feel safe, supported, and inspired. His deep knowledge of the mountains, warm personality, and genuine care for our wellbeing transformed a challenging trek into a truly extraordinary adventure. The trail was breathtaking - Buddha shared stories about Sherpa culture, taught us about the region’s history, and always seemed to know exactly when we needed encouragement, a rest break, or just a good laugh. His professionalism and patience were unmatched. Evenings in the teahouses were filled with warmth and laughter. Buddha made sure we were well-acclimatized, comfortable, and enjoying every moment of the journey. If you’re thinking about doing the Everest Base Camp trek, I can’t recommend choosing Mosaic enough—and I especially recommend going with Buddha. A truly unforgettable adventure, made perfect by an exceptional guide.

We scrolled through google looking for a tour company we liked and found this one. The website is very professional as are the guides. Madhav, the Director of Mosaic was super responsive to any questions we had on WhatsApp. Madan, our guide was super accommodating and happy to align the itinerary to our needs based on capability and time. All the tea houses we stayed in met our needs and had showers almost every night (for a fee). Suma, our porter was an absolute machine, we called him ‘Zooma’. I would travel with them again and can’t recommend them enough!
