Everest Base Camp: The Ultimate 14-Day Himalayan Trek

I loved my Everest Base Camp experience!! I would highly recommend the Green Valley Nepal company to everyone. My guide, Bishwa, as well as all the other workers ensured a comfortable and enjoyable hiking experience throughout the whole process.

After a lot of research on which company to go on an Everest Base Camp Trek with, I selected Green Valley and I am very glad I did. From start to finish they were professional, responsive and informative - Raj helped me coordinate my trip, Ambar guided our group safely and in great spirits to EBC, and Laxman our Porter was an absolute hero. Not the easiest trek you'll ever do, but totally worth it. Whilst there may be cheaper companies (though not by much) to trek with, the quality of experience with Green Valley was worth any extra costs. All guides are likely to be great in good times, but when one of our group got sick, Ambar really stepped in to look after him until he was transported back to KTM - an all round brilliant person and consummate professional. Would highly recommend the company and the trek!

This was an amazing experience. I was actually planning to do the Everest View trek but was given the flexibility to make it to EBC. Raj and Arjun made it all happen logistically, but my guide, Gokarna, and porter, Bishal, made it happen on the ground. They were so encouraging and supportive as well as patient and kind. Although I was traveling solo I ended up trekking with a few other people from the same company. I was able to helicopter out from Gorakshep which was another fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this company.

I customized a trip by adding a day to go from tengbouche to dole so I could see the monastery and do Cho la pass. Excellent service. They picked Dewan as my guide who was a great guide for me. They booked great places to stay and I got to do the pass after delaying a day due to 3 feet of snow. So easy to work with green valley and I booked maybe 40 days out do way to go for getting this done for me. Highly recommend!!! Had a great time and experience with Green Valley with the 14 days Everest base camp and kalapatthar trek. Everything was well organized. It was just the 2 of us so we have the guide for ourselves, however we are still able to meet fellow travellers from the same tour company long the way. The package was also reasonably priced compared to the other providers. Would recommend.

I cannot thank Parshu and Arjun enough!!! My daughter and I booked the 10 day EBC trek with helicopter return in late October. We were delayed getting off the mountain due to weather (both the Lukla and Kathmandu airports had been closed for days due to storms.) Our guide Parshu was excellent, making sure we accomplished our goal of reaching EBC and then helping us get back to Kathmandu as quickly as possible when over 2,500 people were stranded in Lukla and Namche. We were a couple of days late getting home but many were delayed much longer, some over a week. Arjun in Kathmandu was just as good, making sure everything was taken care of before the trip and then helping us after we arrived back in Kathmandu, even getting us a car to the airport for our trip home. We arrived home two days late, but I believe if we had not booked this trek with Green Valley we would have been delayed much longer.

I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek with Green Valley, Nov 2025, and it was honestly miles beyond what I have expected! Everything was expertly organised from arriving in Kathmandu, the trek, and back, despite being a solo traveller I felt I was safe, and very well looked after the entire time by great people. Huge thanks to my amazing trekking team, Our group guide, Mr. Go (Gokarna) is a very knowledgable person that’s genuinely likeable and a pleasure to hang out with. His encouragement, and patience have help me push through some tough days, seeing absolute great views. He is a very genuine man that cares a lot of about the mountains and those who visits. For context there is a program to take 1kg bags of recyclable rubbish down the mountain from higher alititude pick up points. I was adamant that I’ll match him on amount of rubbish carried, we ended up carrying 10kg of rubbish down the mountain between us. The porter team for our group, my porter Ram, are absolute beasts, carrying big weights and getting to the destination well ahead of us, bags were always showing up in front your your tea house room before you get there. Even when things didn’t go too smooth, had 2 in my group feel unwell with high altitude sickness near the top, the company quickly assisted and arranged helicopter flight down and a earlier connecting flight to Kathmandu literally on the same day. With altitude sickness, time is critical and staying an extra day waiting for the heli would have made my friend even worse. There were so many small things that wasn’t listed on the original tour inclusions but was just included during the tour which was just pleasant surprises after surprises. Outperformed by a group of very genuine and kind people. Highly highly recommended this company for your trekking adventure in Nepal, will be back soon to do more treks. Cheers Tom
