Nagarkot is one of the nearest and popular hills from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is a village located about 36 km east of Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 2,165 m above sea level. As one of the most scenic spots in the region, Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. You can observe Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks, and there is an overlook tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Eight out of the 13 Himalayan ranges of mountains in Nepal such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest), Numbur can be seen from here. You will also have panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley, and Shivapuri National Park.

Good Sunrise hike and tour of bhtakpur. Guide was very nice and spoke good english. Hike was very easy not very tiring but great view point

The view of the Himalayas depends on the weather. The day we went the weather was good. We had a really great view of the mountains. Our guide was able to point out various peaks, including Everest. The second half of the tour was interesting. Our guide was good and very friendly. We are glad we took the tour.

A great morning adventure. The sunrise on the mountain is stunning, and then a great morning exploring Bhatapur before the crowds. Prakash is a fantastic guide who is very knowledgable and answered all my questions

The weather was beautiful and the mountains were clear. Durbar Square in Bhaktapur is huge. Earthquake damage prevented us from seeing some buildings. This tour was pricey, but it was a good experience.

Wonderful tour - my guide was extremely knowledgeable. His English was excellent. Was great watching the sunrise and look around Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Five stars. Can highly recommend!

Unfortunately it was a cloudy day in the mountains, so the view of the Himalayas which i had came for was not possible. But Prakash, our guide, was very knowledgeable about many subjects, so we booked a different tour with him for the next day to visit Hindu and Buddhist temples. I highly recommend this guide.

We had a wonderful tour with Prakash, watching the spectacular sunrise and then the UNESCO Bhaktapur Durban Square. WOW, this site was definitely worth visiting. I highly recommend Prakash and this tour.
