Kathmandu Unveiled: Ancient City Soul & Sacred Sites Walk

Sangita was our personal guide in our private walking tour. I was amazed at how she navigated through what looked like a maze of streets. She showed us the ancient city of Kathmandu and it felt like I was transported back in time. Communities here still work like it did many years ago and that was fascinating. Temples, courtyards surrounded by houses and a community temple, numerous small quaint shops selling condiments, spices and groceries. It was such an interesting experience.

Sangita organized and led a great last-minute walking tour through the streets of Kathmandu before work. She is very knowledgeable and kind and showed where her family lived. Can highly recommend this as a way to learn a bit about the city, its architecture, the culture, people, and places.

Our trip to Nepal was great, with the help of Sangita we had the perfect itinerary for us, that combined local cooking classes, treks exactly to our level, and personal guided tour in the bustling city streets of Kathmandu and Patan. Sangita is a great communicator and planner, she was always on top of things and supported us at each step of the trip.

What a great holiday-thank you so much Sangita for a well organized trip. My friend and I had a wonderful time in Nepal trekking up two mountains 5400m high (no altitude sickness) and visiting Kathmandu, Jomsom, Pokhara and many Nepalese villages along the trek. We learnt about Nepalese food and religion and their way of life and enjoyed having a friendly, easy going fit guide (Rabin) and porter (Iswar). It was peaceful and relaxing trekking and the Nepalese were so welcoming and friendly and made us many dal Bhats, thukpa and momos. We learnt to ask for more chilly and spice as they do tread quietly with spice for guests . Kathmandu, Jomsom and Pokhara were busy but culturally a must to experience. One thing to be aware of is when converting rupee currency is to make sure it is Nepalese rupee not Indian rupee ! Thank you Sangita, Rabin and Iswar for a wonderfully, memorable time

They provided us with excellent service and communication regarding the plans for our trip. Sangita and her team were outstanding! Responsive, knowledgeable, competent , pleasant, they had it all. Bhim and Basanta made us feel comfortable on the trek to AustralIan Camp. Bipin was a great guide in Kathmandu….sharing his vast knowledge of history.

Most of them selling the same souvenir and building are all same everywhere, we were around noon time, it is hot. Will remember to bring umbrella in my next day tour

My Dad and I visited Nepal in mid April after having to rebook our original trip from 2020 and Sangita, Bipin and our Trek guide absolutely MADE the trip! We had our whole 9 day Nepal Trip customised for what we were interested in and not a single day disappointed. Our trip was organised by Sangita so we had a few days in Thamel, either side of our 4 day trek up the mountains to Namche Bazar with our trek guide Bhim who was happy to answer all of the questions we bombarded him with. A very memorable experience for my dad and I. We will have fond memories of our trip for many years to come. Maybe if we go again, we will organise the base camp trek with them for sure!
