we did this tour during Oktoberfest so maybe it was busier than usual. when we arrived at the tour office there were two guides trying to split up the apparently larger than normal groups so it was a bit chaotic. Then off to the train station, we were hurried along through the busy streets while our guide did her best to keep the 14 (or more) of us together. Off to Salzburg... nice ride and our guide explained a lot to us on our ride. I gave this tour 3 stars because it was an informative tour, however the tour guide was not taking the cues of the group sometimes going off explaining things in detail while the group trailed off and started to wander around waiting to be able to explore on our own. I know there were things that needed to be said, but the IPAD videos and chatter about the sound of music was apparently not what the patrons of the tour wanted. Once we left for the bus and back to the train station it was a rush to get on the train. a more stressful journey than it should have been in my opinion. Again the guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but maybe this tour would be better as a small group tour.

Myself and my two friends did this tour, our guide was the sweetest person, and it was an amazing quality trip. We got to do so much in the time we were given, will definitely be back!

Cristian was an excellent tour guide! Very attentive to the group, explained everything very well. Excellent English. We had a child maybe age 1-2 in a stroller that screamed on the train and the tour, children this age should not be allowed it was a distraction to those that wanted to learn.

Our tour of Salzburg was amazing and it was all thanks to our tour guide Elizabeth. She was very funny, knowledgeable and made the experience all the more fun. She was a wealth of information and gave us very good suggestions and tips to enjoy our day. I would recommend this day trip 100%.

Fabulous day trip. It will take at least 10 hours. But very informative. Enough free time to shop or explore and have lunch. Group small enough so you can stay together. Lot of walking and uneven roads be sure tou wear comfortable shoes and can keep up. Our tour guide Cristian was exceptional. Very personable and knowledgeable. Emhis English was clear and voice was loud enough to hear

Markus guided us on the tour- and holy was he AMAZING!! Everything you could possibly want from a guide- extremely helpful with practical matters, made excellent recommendations for shopping, Mozart chocolate, restaurants, etc. and he was so funny and personable!! He made the tour, 100%. Of course, Salzburg was incredibly gorgeous and it’s now a place my partner and I are planning to travel to again.

I had a fabulous tour. Our guide Markus was great and we enjoyed our trip because of him. He was super helpful to our needs and gave us very important information on the go. He was very conscious of people of all age groups and connected with all of us.
