Dachau Memorial: Unforgettable History Journey from Munich

Iain gave a fabulous tour of Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Tour. He was knowledgeable, compassionate and focused. We are most grateful to him and to Radius Tours.

Richard our tour guide was super informative and really did a nice job explaining many things we would never of known without his expertise.

Sobering and painful experience, but very glad we went. We cannot forget our past, and pay tribute and respect to all that perished in this atrocity of human man kinds past. We were traveling with large back packs - and the facility has free secure storage for our belongings which was great. They also provided free motorized chairs for those that needed them, and the audio system for self guided tours was fantastic. Lastly, the Bayern public transport tickets allowed us to take a short bus to the facility from the train - very easy to navigate - definitely GO see teh memorial.

Nic was a wonderful guide. His knowledge and his fluency was excellent. Since he had researched the walk well every point I wanted to ask was covered . His story telling style with little bits and pieces of trivia and linking with the present was very engaging. The walk was easy paced. For absorbing the museum a full hour is needed and not the 40 min allotted. We could have taken a bus 20 min later.

The actual tour was great. Problem was it was very hard to hear our tour guide. What I heard was very informative,but I heard very little. It would have been helpful if our guide had an audio microphone so we could have heard him better.

Nic was a great tour guide. He presented information in a respectful way, and also pointed out specific points of interest that may be relevant for individuals looking to see a particular aspect of the memorial. We had time at the end to customize our experience, which was much appreciated.

Our tour guide Lucia was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the area & era/history of this Country. I would recommend having an option to stay longer and visit the area/town.
