Mae is a wonderful person, always ready to answer your questions and happy to share her knowledge. The visit to the market was full of flavors, scents, and colors! I learned a lot about the local traditions. The class was very interesting and fun — it went by so quickly! Mae first shows us how to cook a recipe, and then it’s our turn to practice. She is always there to help. After that, it’s time to taste — so delicious! Yummy! I’ll be glad to cook the recipes I learned at home. I truly recommend this experience!

May, our chef, was easy going. She was so kind to give us directions to meet us at the market since we were late because of the crazy Bangkok traffic. Learning the different recipes was so fun and inspired us to make them at home also! The kitchen area did get rather warm while we were cooking but the room where we ate our food had excellent air conditioning and was so comfortable! It would have been even better if chef had sat down with us while we ate so we can learn more from her but she and her staff were busy cleaning up the mess we had all made in the kitchen! Everything was very clean and well organized!

I did this cooking class solo and loved it from start to finish. The host "May" along with the rest of the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming upon arrival. We started with a fun tuk tuk ride to a local (not tourist) market for ingredients. May clearly has very extensive knowledge about everything food-related and answered every questions in detail. The cooking itself was fun and collaborative, with assistance available for you if needed. I learned so much and had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone.

This was an excellent tour. Matinee was excellent. The tour of the market was very interesting and informative. The cooking dishes were very tasty and Matinee moved at a great pace. The completed dishes were fantastic. We selected this tour because it was close to our hotel and highly rated. It did not disappoint and I would recommend it to any travelling to Thailand. (It is tricky to find at the end of the alley but shop owners nearby directed us) Thank you for the great morning.

Absolutely fantastic small group (5!!!) class with tuition that assumes no knowledge but accommodates those that had experience. Led by the teacher and 2 supported by 2 fantastic assistants we made 4 hugely successful meals and shopped for ingredients in the sort of market that is definitely NOT on a tourist map. Eye opening and a true experience.

Wow! What a great experience. From start to finish a great event. The market was very interesting and the cooking class instructor explained alot. The dishes were super yummy and again we got some very good instructions. Thank you for such a great time!

Incredible. Such a valuable experience, do not miss out!!! The explanations and demonstrations of different ingredients in the market was amazing. The cooking portion was so smooth and efficient. The food itself was the best we’ve had - especially the pad Thai and mango sticky rice. The instructor has the loveliest personality which creates a great environment to learn in.
