Mutianyu Great Wall: Private Cable & Toboggan Thrill

It was a great experience. My driver (sorry i don’t get the name) he is really helpful, kind even tho there’s a language barrier. He makes sure that I’m safe and comfortable. You have a lot of free time if you will just book for private transportation.

Highly recommend this tour group. Our driver picked us up on time, got us our entry ticket and walked us to the shuttle to get to the chair lift. The Mutianyu section of the wall is less crowded, with options to go in two directions (red gondola or green chair lift). It’s a grueling climb, but well worth it. Our guided waited almost 3 hrs w/o a problem.

Do take this tour. Lucy was a great guide. Very good English, very knowledgeable. Sometimes telling us a lot, sometimes letting us be. Traveling with three kids, she helped making the trip as smooth as possible, skipping the long lines and really make this trip memorable. Great, great choice.
