My daughter and I visited the Tower mainly to see the poppies. Both my mum and grandma loved poppies so we felt we just had to go. They are beautiful and very moving and to see service men moved to tears by them made it even more poignant. We had a very interesting day the Tower its self is so interesting. Not been there for 40.years when my daughter was 10. We went on the Friday of half term. We didn't queue at all apart from the one of the towers and even that was very a very short time. Everything is so well organised. All the beefeaters and volunteers extremely helpful. Didn't eat there.

I would give yourself at least three hours to explore this historical place. So much to see. Each building had different features. The Crown Jewels exhibit was incredible. Well worth the money for this exhibition.

We were to get a tour by a Beefeeter but for some reason we were told they don't work in the rain. It wasn't raining. We had to pay for self guided audio tour. Very disappointed.

After a day of museums and galleries, we weren't fully sure if we'd overdone it with our teenage kids, however the Tower very deservedley earns it's number 1 slot of things to do in London. Fantasically maintained, everythign so clean. And between the crown jewels, walking the wall perimetrer with smaller towers (prison, torture etc) then the big main arsenal tower gives great variety. The staff/beefaters are all fantatsic too. Tip would be to get in for 10am, give yourself 3 hours and leave for lunch soemwhere nearby - it wasd definitely busy when we left. Also good value if you've got the 2for1 with the national rail tickets

It was great. Audioguide was confusing. We didn’t always know what we were looking at or hearing about. Overall the experience was incredible.

Excellent visit. Beefeater (AJ) was fantastic. Her knowledge about the Tower and its history was exceptional. She kept young and old listening to her every word. She was happy to allow people to take photographs with her. The Crown Jewels were a sight to behold. Young and old we all enjoyed the visit. .

Fourth time inside (the first three all within a one month period in 2014). An excellent experience yesterday, prompted by the ceramic poppy exhibition there, which we particularly wanted to see. The weather stayed fine and the crowds dispersed from about 3.30pm, which made full access to all areas excellent. Crown Jewels and the banqueting room in the White Tower real highlights for me

Excellent experience. The history of the Tower and Kings and Queens was excellent. It did rain a lot. The crown jewels was incredible and very crowded, the travelator was a great way of moving people pSt the main coronation jewels. All in all an excellent day out. Added bonus we got to see the poppy installation.
