The best way to see the city! The ability to hop on and off gives you all the flexibility to enjoy the attractions you want to see most.

Enjoyed the ride. It gave a great overview of the city. Especially enjoyed our tour guide driver Quack.

As long-time Boston residents who had not been on one of these tours, my wife and I took my brother and his wife (from Texas). We were very fortunate to get Hugo as our guide. Hugo made it very informative and entertaining. Highly recommended!

I go on hop on hop off tours in most cities I visit, it's a great way to get to know the lay out of cities. The Old Town Trolley Boston did not disappoint. They are at all major tourist/historical sites, and driver was informative. Busy day we were there, but enough people got off to let people get on at the stops we made. May be a bit slow due to Boston downtown traffic, but would recommed.

Though fairly expensive this is a great thing to do whilst in Boston! All of the drivers where enthusiastic about what they were talking about. I learnt things about the city that I didn’t know before. There are separate route’s including Back Bay, Seaport etc. all of varying lenghts. Busus come once around 10 minutes, however expect to wait longer. I completed this tour on Sunday and me and my family could all easily get seats on every bus! You can book tickets on there website or in one of there stores or stands around the city. All in all a great way to explore the city without walking all day!! Ps: Kid friendly!!!

I wish the drivers spent more time talking about landmarks, but they have to navigate the streets of Boston..

I really wanted to enjoy this tour, but for me its success depended entirely on the quality of the driver/narrator. I experienced four driver/narrators when I rook the tour on October 21st -- two of them were very good; the other two were absolutely AWFUL! The two good narrators had excellent diction and a good command of the historical facts, along with a fun sense of humor. One of the awful narrators did not seem to speak English as his first language. His favorite word was "amongst" which he said CONSTANTLY, along with his favorite adjective "wonderful" (i.e., "our wonderful Boston Common", "our wonderful Public Garden", "our wonderful Cheers bar", etc. etc.) I could endure only a few minutes of this verbiage (which he also interspersed with factual errors) so I got off at the next immediate stop. The other disappointing narrator seemed to know his facts, but his diction was so slurred and mushy that what came out of the intercom almost sounded like a foreign language.

Buses run every 20 minutes. Some site have a distance to walk to see, some are up a steep hill, some are on mostly flat ground. Tour guides are knowledgeable, friendly and funny.

We enjoyed the trolley experience. There was a cruise ship In town that made busses impossible to get on at stop 8. We waited over an hour for a bus with room. Dispatch said, 3 times they were sending an empty bus. No empty bus arrived. The drivers were nice about it, but dispatch wasn’t doing its job. Dispatch put their drivers in a position where they had to try to appease 30 ppl with false promises.
