Barron Gorge Rafting: Unforgettable Half-Day Thrill from Cairns

Wow, so much fun with my family. Jacki was fantastic as our raft tour guide. So calm, relaxed and helpful to get us ready. After getting a thorough safety instructions we were on our way. Navigating rocks and boulders, flowing down fast rapids. What an experience. Thanks tour guide Tom for his energitic energy before getting there to start the afternoon.

My husband and I were with Lexi and she was wonderful. She made the entire experience a blast and the location is absolutely stunning.

The whole experience was amazing. The staff were friendly, fun, and very professional. Everything felt well organized and safe throughout the day. However, there was an unexpected extra charge for shoes, even though the booking page mentioned that all equipment would be provided which should include shoes. The photo package also felt a bit overpriced. Overall though, it was an exciting and memorable rafting experience!

This was a great experience for both kids and adults. Staff were great and very knowledgeable, made the younger kids feel safe. The rapid were fantastic. Lots of fun.

Our family’s experience with Foaming Fury was mixed. The rafting itself was good thanks to our raft captain, Bilal, who was fun, skilled and professional. Unfortunately, check-in was disorganised and unfriendly, waivers had to be completed despite already being submitted, equipment was poorly managed, and miscommunication about raft capacity raised safety concerns. The operation felt more like a backpacker labour force than a professional adventure company. While management responded thoughtfully to feedback, frontline staff clearly need better training and oversight.

It was a great tour for young kids. We enjoyed it. However, we found it was a bit short compared to other places we did river rafting.

Everyone had an amazing day, would highly recommend booking with these guys, would do it again for sure! Guides were great, communication after booking was great. 100% happy!

Our family were first timers and did the half day rafting. It was fantastic well worth the price. The guides were great and a whole lot of fun. Highly recommend this experience.
