Santorini: Your Private 5-Hour Breathtaking Island Escape

I have used this company twice I. The past and it was excellent. Joey this time was terrible because Essie did not get what we paid for and was outlined in the website. We were four people and booked a 8 hour tour with the guide. We only got a driver and no guide!!! We got a guide in the past. The driver George asked us what we wanted to do/go. If it is your first time you have no idea. He was more like an uber driver and dropped us off at various locations with no guidance. This was a very expensive ride!! I reached out to the company afterwards and they gave a lame excuse that sometimes they do t have a guide. Sorry but this is NOT WHAT I PAID 520 Euros for. When George showed up I could have refused the tour but they already had my 80euro deposit and I had only one day to do the tour. Beware bait and switch at the last minute.

Rather than doing a cruise excursion we found it was a better deal for the 6 of us to hire a private tour - we did the 4 hour "highlights" tour and it is highly recommended! Joanna was a great guide and the van was so nice and comfortable. We visited Oia, a couple stops for photo ops and then to Pyrgos where she suggested a Kantouni which was a wonderful place for lunch (my favorite on the trip!). We did have a couple of older people with some mobility issues with us. I had hoped that being in a small tour we could have avoided any "extra" walking, but we were dropped off in the same parking lot as the cruise busses in Oia. Just something to note. I will add that they did pick us up at a closer location, which was much appreciated!!

We booked a 6 hour private tour and could not have been happier! George ( our driver) was absolutely amazing. He was prompt, friendly and very informative. The Mercedes van was fantastic! He went out of his way to make sure we saw all the things Santorini has to offer - from popular tourist attractions to hidden gems. He gave us tips and suggestions as we explored Santorini. We appreciated how helpful he was and we really enjoyed getting to know him! We could have easily spent several more hours with him. It was definitely the highlight of our 12 day adventure around Italy and Greece. Seriously-we rave about that trip and George every chance we get! Don’t hesitate to book this excursion- the entire process was smooth and communication was wonderful!

Our driver is very good, he took us around the Santorini for sightseeing and showed us the nice photos spots !

Joanna was a great host for the day. Genuine person who was enjoyable to spend time with. We loved the places we visited. The car was luxurious Perfect day, great pacing.

Our guide was Stelios. We really enjoyed his company. He was quiet, and I do not mean that in a bad way. It was nice to have a guide that listened instead of talking all the time. He was very knowledgable about the island and its history and people. He was very attentive to our needs and our requests. He showed us everything we wanted to see and more. If you want an enjoyable day with an exceptional guide. Ask for Stelios.

The tour was good, and we enjoyed some truly amazing views. We were able to see the entire island, which made the experience very encompassing. The transportation was clean and comfortable. However, we would have preferred the guide to be more engaging and share more insights about what we were seeing. We also had an uncomfortable experience with a crowd at a well-known site, and it would have been helpful if she had navigated and explained the situation more effectively.

Nikki was awesome in every way! We had an incredible experience and she was very knowledgeable about Santorini history and culture. We told her we were interested in a few specific places to include shopping and stopping at a grocery store and they did it all for us! Thank you Nikki for such a memorable day!
