The highlight was the changing of the Guards Royal palace.Wasted alot of time at courtyard of house in Seoul talking about history of this residence. The trip to the market was very brief so could not get into shopping. In conclusion,not worth the money. Usually I am impressed with Viator but this trip to Korea & Japan their guides & tours were sub par.

I was looking forward to the experience, but I was very disappointed. The guide did not provide any context about the places before we arrived, and he explained almost nothing about the history of Seoul or the palace. At each stop, he gave a brief explanation and then allowed 20 to 30 minutes of free time, which was barely enough to use the restroom. The weather was cold, which didn’t help either, but I was expecting much more from this tour. I’m planning to revisit these places with a better guide.

Our family wanted to get an overview tour of the city for stay. Our guide was very friendly and helpful. The palace was quite majestic. We learned about the history and culture. It was a wonderful experience.

A great job by Mr. Young. Enjoyed the history that was dribbled in at various stops. He is knowledgeable in both history and culture. Was a comprehensive tour. Both palaces are beautiful. The folk museum visit was a cultural education. He helped me with find veg food at lunch. We had free time in each place to explore.

Mr Young was knowledgeable - both about the history and the sights. It was an enjoyable trip and a good overview of the sights of Seoul

Mr. Young was very knowledgeable and great to tour with. I learned a lot while also having the freedom to look around at each stop.

Such a great tour with Sookhee, she is very knowledgeable about the history of Seoul. A great way to see all of the popular spots around the city, including the palaces and trendy suburbs. Would 100% recommend!

We had a pickup at the hotel which was very nice. The tour included the things we wanted to see and we thought it was a good introduction to Seoul. The Ginseng Factory visit was unexpected for us and of no interest but some folks loved it. Our tour guide, BK, was excellent. He was very kind and thoughtful. It was a good tour overall.

We had Lua guided our palace & city tour. She was great. The tour picked us up at hotel on time Insandong lunch stop was nice. We enjoyed our tour.

Lua did an amazing job on our tour. She was insightful and entertaining, and it was a great day trip. The food suggestions were spot on as well!
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Royal guard changing ceremony might be cancelled due to weather conditions
- On Mondays, Changdeokgung Palace is closed and you will go to Bukchon traditional Hanok Village instead
- On Tuesdays, the Gyeongbokgung Palace and National Folk Museum of Korea is closed, so you will go to Changdeokgung(including secret garden) and in the afternoon you will visit Bukchon Hanok Village instead.
