This was such a great experience! My friend and are visiting from Canada and had a lovely time. Mark was our guide through the drive and added so much richness to the experience. He had hilarious stories and a great grasp of history. Our driver, Dass, was incredible on the rougher windy roads and got us safely through our journey. Thank you for a great time!

This tour was absolutely amazing! Just what we were looking for when coming to Ireland. I do wish there was a bit more time in Galway, but to be expected with a day trip/group tour. Our guide, Jack, was superb. Friendly, great energy and extremely knowledgeable. He really made the tour great for us. Thanks Jack’o!!

If you love learning more about the history and the landscapes of Ireland in one day, this is the trip for you! Our guide, Harry, brought his knowledge, humor and engaging personality and Igor, our driver, was flawless in his ability to navigate the narrow, but beautiful, rural roads. As a single traveler, the bus was full of other curious travelers from around the world and the variety of sites provided such a worthwhile experience. Want to see what the West coast and rural Ireland are like? This is your tour!

Had the best day on tour with Oli and Jose! Jose's expert driving kept us all safe on the unpredictable Irish roads. And Oli kept us all entertained with stories and important historical information. I especially appreciated his specially curated playlist. I will definitely be booking with Finn McCool tours again!

A wonderful day tour from Dublin. Our guide, Aoife and driver Young Thomas, were great. Aoife had a wealth of information to share, she was very knowledgeable, personable, and witty. Enjoyed her stories.

Be advised, the tour will depart at 6:45am, and the bus will leave at that time with or without you! Calling in the morning before departure to say that you are on your way or just around the corner will not delay the tour. This is to ensure that everyone has a good day out. Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is cancelled, you will not be entitled to a refund. BATHROOM - Using the restrooms before joining the tour is recommended. The first stop of the day would be around 2 hours away. During the day, there will be rest stops along the way. The closest bathroom facilities can be found on O'Connell Street where there are cafes and fast food restaurants (e.g. 24-hour McDonald's). CLOTHING - Comfortable walking shoes and warm waterproof jacket are recommended. LUNCH - Bringing a packed lunch is recommended as we do not stop anywhere for lunch. However, we have a rest stop in the morning at a service station where you can buy packed sandwiches and snacks as well. PARKING - Walking or taking public transport or a taxi to our pick up is recommended. As our pick up is in the city centre, parking would be difficult to find and quite expensive for the day. If you would still like to drive, the closest car park would be Temple Bar Car Park (25-minute walking distance to our pick up). You might also be able to find some free on-street parking in the Drumcondra area (20-minute walking distance)24 hours before travel date - 100% refund
