Breathtaking Ninh Binh: Tam Coc & Mua Cave Day Trip from Hanoi

We had a great day with our guide Sunny, he's a great guide, picked us up from the hotel and made great explanations about Vietnam. We had 1 stop for Coffee in the beginning of the day then went to Nihm Bihm, the only problem was the weather, it was raining all day so we stayed all wet for the most part. I imagine that the scenery are the most beautiful with a sunny day.

It is a lot of walking but our family enjoy the day. My son and his children had a great time. Hanoi is very mountainous so be pared for it.

Sunny is a great guide. Very helpful and explains everything so well in his own unique way. The bus is very comfortable with WiFi and plenty of water provided, collection was earlier than first advised but it made the trip as we got ahead of all the other bus trips. Everyone was on time and no one was late back which helped alot. If you have ever cycled a bicycle the cycle is not strenuous it is practically flat with a small incline that may need you to put a little effort into it, 80kg is a joke needs to be pushed to 120kg in description. The buffet lunch is a perfect mix of everything meat, salad, vegetables, rice, noodles, soup and fruit. Drinks are extra but most drinks less than 30000 Vit dong. The boat trip is really good, you need a bit of a cushion and the seat can get really hard as it lasts about an hour, tip of about $2 per person. The hike is difficult but manageable if you take your time. The very top at the dragon is very steep, the black stones are very slippery so avoid. You can get a good picture of dragon head if you stay to the left at the side of the bin. Overall a great experience and well worth the money.

We had an amazing day trip to Ninh Bin. The trip was thoughtfully organised. Special mention of the prompt communication and clarity at each stage of the booking and travel process. Sunny, our guide, was a hoot. We learned quite a lot about Vietnam and had many a laugh along the way. He was extremely helpful in helping us deal with a sudden change in our plans too. Hoa, the driver, made sure we had a smooth and comfortable journey, all with a lovelty warm smile on his face. The buffet lunch was great, with plenty of vegetarian options. The pacing of the activities was bang on, with enough time for rest and stops. We hope to do more trips with this crew again :)

Sunny was a great guide. He provided useful and interesting information in a entertaining manner. It was relaxing to get out of hectic Hanoi for the calm of the countryside, river and mountains. Really enjoyed the river ride although id recommend using the life vest as a cushion fir the hard seat. The clim to the top of the mountain is quite tiring but worth the view....I'm told. I decided to stay at the bottom and have a drink instead. Wisdom of age. I'd certainly recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed this tour, our guide (Sonny) was very knowledgeable and funny. Everything was well organised and it was a highlight of my trip.

We were picked up from our hotel, taken on a full day out with no big crowds and so much history and beautiful scenery was involved.
