Ben was a really professional guide. He showed us the most incredible places and told us many fables about the lagunes. Also the crew at the boat was great...we got wunderful rooms and very delicious dishes. CatBaVentures also took account if we need to have special food. This was a wonderful trip! Thank you Ben!

Great experience! Got picked up at our Home stay at Cat Ba Island and went to the office, then headed to the harbour with our trip „family“ to get on a boat Would definitely recommend to book the tour WITH other people - you get to know so many different individuals. Travel tips included. ;) The boat crew was so nice. Food and beverages tasted delicious. The cabin was lovely. Special thanks to our Guide Hang! Not only does he really know actually everything related to the island, landscape, animals etc. He is also a fantastic magician. Ask him about some tricks after dinner - you will be stunned!

This was one of my favorite experiences in Vietnam. Ben & Hang made sure we had an amazing time. Both speak English very well! The tour is always away from the other tourist boats, going into other areas or just doing activities earlier! Our group size was also quite small so we actually got to know each other and had a great time with Ben! It was the perfect mix between activity and relaxation! I 100% recommend this. Also thanks to the boat crew - the food was great!

We are very pleased with everything on this boat trip. We went to places that was not too crowded, we got plenty of time for canoeing, relaxing and for swimming. We had an incredible time with Cat Ba Ventures. Our guide Ben was awesome. He did everything he could to make sure everyone had a great time like getting us to the best kayak spots before all the other groups. He’s great at answering any question you could have about trip while in Cat Ba or where you should go next. I recommend this cruise more than the “luxury” cruises offered in the area. Ask for Ben you are guaranteed to have a great time!

We had an amazing trip with Ben - he is the best! We did a 2 day tour including a transport from Hanoi by bus for 11 USD/person, then they organized everything for us on a boat. We had an amazing group of people, just felt like family after the two days. The cabin for sleeping is nice and comfy, there is a shower, slow wifi (which is enough for relaxing ;) ), AC. Food was prepared by the crew and mainly fresh seafood, fruits, rice. We did nice kayaking trips on both days, you should be able to do some exercise. Also swimming at the beach was possible. Ben was the perfect host, you could ask him everything, personally, about the country, about his life, about other life's, amazing. Highly recommend him, stunning views in the morning and the whole day made this trip unforgettable and the best experience of our whole trip.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic experience on our trip with Cat Ba Ventures! Hang was an exceptional tour guide—he was very knowledgeable, professional, and funny. He made every part of the trip smooth and was very thoughtful about making the best guest experience. For example, he had us start earlier the second day so that we could go to particular caves before the tide went up. We especially loved kayaking through the caves and swimming in the lagoons, and that Hang took us to private spots without other tourists. The food was delicious too. I would definitely recommend it!
