Buenos Aires: Private Local's Immersive City Tour

Alfredo was our guide and he showed us many neighborhoods in BA and gave us the history too. He even stopped for the best empanadas at our request. He was so knowledgeable and friendly!

The city tour was so informative with so much to see. I would highly recommend this tour and our tour guide Martin. Martin did a great job not only showing us the sites in Buenos Aires but shared interesting history and details about each site we went to. Martin recommended other tours but helped us arranged the tour and always went the extra mile. I feel I now have a new best friend.

Alfredo was knowledgeable, flexible and provided a wealth of information. We only had a short time to spend in Buenos Aires and he made it perfect.

Juan our guide was very knowledgeable and flexible with his tour. We thought it was a perfect tour with our guide Juan. But he took us to the stores we realized were tourists traps and scams. He took us to this leather store called Cueros Antilope. I bought a jacket worth $500 plus. i inspected the jacket i was going to get , but when i got home here in the US, i was given a defective, scratched, worn and used one. This is the stores doing but i we trusted our guide to take us to safe places and not to scammers. The other store on the other hand were overpriced! Maybe they get commissions or something from these stores or what? But the trust is not there anymore.

A fascinating 4 hours with a wonderful guide who wove together a narrative of the history/development of Argentina and of Buenos Aires, and related it to the areas of the city that we explored, along with interesting tangents into culture and sports. Our guide was knowledgeable, very personable, patient with all of our questions, and a fluent English speaker, for those of us who lack Spanish. Highly recommended.
